I was recently playing Pai Gow Poker in a Las Vegas casino.

Six players at the table set their hand- the dealer set her hand.

She collected the bet from the first player, than decided to reset her hand with the Pit Boss' permission.

Can she RESET her hand AFTER revealing the first players cards????

Thanks,

Yes. But it has to be reset to the official house way. And it can only be reset if it were NOT originally set to the house way.

Since you didn't say so, I'm assuming the first player's hand lost both ways the dealer set her hand?

I remember an instance when opinions differed on how the dealer should set her hand and the pit boss had to weigh in. That's why I like the tables with the electronic display that show the dealer's low hand -- no counting dice pips for starting position and no relying on the dealer's interpretation of the house rules.
