Some of you have given instructions for distribution a long time ago. However, Wizard asks that if you gave instructions before the end of round 13, to please do so again. To be specific, the only instructions Wizard has recorded in his spreadsheet are from beachbumbabs, Mission146, DJTeddyBear, and prozema. If you are not one of those people, Wizard would prefer you PM him with instructions.
Quote: NathanI want my Share of the pot to go to Axel's plan. :) Thanks Wizard for hosting a fun game! :D
You're welcome. Will do.

To those not familiar with WizPay: It's not an actual payment platform. It's just Wizard's own recognition and accounting for his debts to us.
Wizard, Please clarify what payment methods you are ok with.
Till now, I'd assumed PayPal and maybe ChasePay for US based players and maybe PayPal for European players subject to fees being borne by recipient?
Or direct donation to charity?
Hopefully, collecting up 22 players worth of funds and diverting to Axel will save some effort.
Players, please get your instructions to OnceDear by PM. If you wish to extract your funds immediately, also send your PayPal address to Wizard. If you don't wish to involve OnceDear, that's fine but it may slow down resolving the payments.

I'm happy to do Paypal. As of a recent policy change, I think that recipients outside the US will have to pay a transaction fee. Checks from a US bank account are fine, but I prefer Paypal. DJTB asked to settle up when next we meet, which is fine, but I would prefer to just pay by Paypal and get it over with. Also, I'm happy to donate winnings to the Three Square food bank here in Las Vegas. If you have a Bitcoin wallet, I think that can be arranged too. I don't know much about the transaction fees, but I'm concerned they will eat into the small amounts we are talking about. Transferring to a pool is highly recommended because it makes things easy on me. Both pools I'm aware of will be run by people I see often here in Vegas. I can't think of any other convenient options.

Looking at both ways, I think the overall game winner is PlayYourCardsRight with ten wins and coming in second in money (first if not counting round 11). How about a speech from the winner?
First off, I'd like the thank the Academy ... oops, wrong speech. Seriously, thanks Mike for running this .... it was a lot of fun.
I think the key to the success truly was cooperation. There were several weeks in which people worked their tail off to orchestrate the best possible outcome. Other weeks, captains didn't seem to be on board. Each round, especially when i was a captain, I read the comments of others carefully, took into account what I thought was going to happen and voted (or recommended) accordingly.
I also made very few posts declaring my intentions, but did relay messages as needed. It wasn't about me, it was about the team and I'm glad it worked out.
Now, where's my trophy!

Your trophy is that you know you ran a very clean and honest game and truly helped other people out. :D

I will hate myself for saying this..... But I guess I'm "Trump" and you are "Clinton" in the last election! The idea was to win the most money, and only one of us did that! But you won the 'popular vote'!
