Quote: AxelWolfI just wanted to come twist the knife a bit. I bet more on the over with Mike at the meet up after metting PokerGrinder. Poker Grinder is a fun guy great conversationalist (PS. thanks for the help)
Then the morning of the event I seen Mike and I bet 50 getting 3 to 1 for the win.
Thanks for the kind words Axel, had a lot of fun hanging with you guys all weekend.

Just wanted to mention since the bet was earlier in the thread, and also to celebrate just a little. ..I had the yes for $100 @4:1 with the Wizard, and he is making good on the bet. Thank you, Mike! And thanks again pg!
BBB IIRC You always bet the yes. I think you have a maternal instinct and love for the underdog.Quote: beachbumbabsJust wanted to mention since the bet was earlier in the thread, and also to celebrate just a little. ..I had the yes for $100 @4:1 with the Wizard, and he is making good on the bet. I want to just make the correct choice.
I came close to loading up $500 on the over however The Wizard wanted to move the line up. I would have bet $120 to win $100 but The Wizard wasn't having it. he wanted to move the over. I don't like getting a worst line even just adding 1 or 2 more made me say no.
We couldn't come to an agreement so I put the $50 for the win.
It would have put down as much as Mike let me(within reason), if I could've gotten 3.5 to 1. I hated the fact you were getting 4 to 1 and I was offered 3:1.
Normally I take the no, but I just had a good feeling about him. But knowing how difficult this is and the fact he's canadian gave me some concern.
I don't bet because I'm trying to win money the money just happens to keep score.
I'm still watching you giving the fact that you are canadian.☺ http://rs2.pbsrc.com/albums/y14/SidecarMike/1241.gif~c200Quote: PokerGrinderThanks for the kind words Axel, had a lot of fun hanging with you guys all weekend.
Now that jhit is funny.Quote: RomesI'm pretty sure I know how/why PG was able to complete the amazing feat... Saturday night at poker, drunk Axel: "Seriously I know guys that'll kill you if you don't get 75. I got guys that'll kill you..." ...slur the words a bit as you read them =).
Funny only 'cause I read it as a joke.
Very funny.....
I'm assuming from previous post that Romes got the better of Axel at Poker....THIS TIME ;-)

That was a little concerning but to Axel's credit I think the threat was that HE himself would murder me so atleast he is a do it yourself kind of guy :)
What are the odds that this happens just a week or two after we have the nugget challenge and got a lot of heat from McDonalds??? I think we got them to change their nuggets!!! At least that's what I'm gonna go with. Good job everybody!Quote: WizardofnothingMcDonald's rolling out new chicken nugget recipe http://nyp.st/1NUaHLd

They probably saw what those damn things did to me and were thinking we are going to sued one of these days.

Wow -- What are the odds?! Congratulations, PG, on getting down 100 of the classic unhealthy McNuggets just in time.

Thanks, just throwing it out there I am not willing to do it again with the new nuggets lol.
Quote: WizardofnothingMike offered 100 more for 10 more and it was turned down
It was a hypothetical question. I also asked, "If I gave you $100 for each additional McNugget, how many more could you eat?" I think he said 20 to 30, but I'm not sure.
Quote: WizardofnothingMy apologies, thought I clearly heard the first one of 10 more for 100 and he said no after looking up in the air for a couple seconds
Don't apologize. It was just talk, not official offers.
Quote: AyecarumbaPokerGrinder - If you were paid $10 for nugget 101, $20 for nugget 102, $40 for 103, $80 for 104, $160, $320.. etc. How many do you think you could have maxed out at?
As the Wizard mentioned we had discussed hypotheticals. I said if there was a lot of money in it I could have probably stuffed 20 more down.

The Martingale will always result in ruin, or vomit, eventually.

Vomit or ruin is there really a difference at that point.

Hehe... 20 more would be mind blowing.
Although I lost to the Wizard, the entertainment value of the thread and the event was worth it. Congratulations again, and thanks for the attempt. I also appreciate Mike sponsoring the freeroll. Thanks Wizard!

I think I could have kept going but the hypothetical money would have had to be like $100 a nugget at that point. I didn't feel well at all. Glad you were entertained though. Someone will have to figure out a challenge for next year. (Not volunteering to do it btw)
