I will be in Vegas between the 16th and 30th of June. I would love to meet anyone who lives in Vegas and visits this site, and maybe we could organise some sort of night out.

Unfortunately, I will not be in Vegas during that time, but I expect to see good trip reports from you Croupier! Are you staying at one place for your 2 weeks or staying at different places?

Really excited now. Gonna be staying at the Best WEstern Mardi Gras for most of the time with a couple of nights on the strip. There will be a daily blog post. Hope they live up to your expectations.

It's gonna be hot. This is the only place I've been where wind actually makes you feel worse on hot days -- the Mojave hairdryer. How are you going to get around once you're at the Best Western? Walking to and from the Strip would be killer.

The Mardi Gras lays on a free shuttle to Bally's and back every hour from 8am till about 11pm. Other than that its mainly gonna be buses. I was looking forward to it being hot but whith temperatures expected to be around 105 degrees for most of the time I really hope the air con is working properly.
