You should do it, "Price is Right," style just for kicks. You have to be the closest without going over!

So, if you're in the table below ...

Mine sent.

Interesting that the winner could be somebody who didn't pick Romney.
the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!”   She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Sadly, while I can't predict the winner, the loser is the American Public, and its a sure bet.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

The number of forum members to predict the GOP VP candidate to be Paul Ryan -- Zero. So, clearly we will need something else as a tiebreaker for correctly getting the winning candidate. The tie breaker will be to guess the electoral college results. The person coming closest of those who already picked the winner correctly will win the contest. So, if you have changed your mind on the party to win, you should still base your electoral college prediction assuming you are right in the party to win.

So, if you're in the table below, please send you prediction to me by PM. If you're not, please don't.

Okay, now the really important question.. Who won the contest?

Edit: The Electoral College totals were 303 for President Obama, and 206 for Mitt Romney.

I had Obama at 332 and Romney at 206.

No, I'm hoping for 29 Obamas and zero Romneys though (hey, it is Florida after all).

Freaking A!! I got nervous and hedged and called it 326-212, thinking that either an NV or IA loss was possible. We have exactly the same line, but you had more balls than me on the tie breaker.

I've been meaning to address this. To recap, nobody got the GOP VP so in August I asked for predictions on electoral college results as a tiebreaker.

First those correctly getting Romney as the GOP primary winner, and Obama to win were: APDave, avargov, Ayecarumba, boymimbo, mickpk, rdw4potus, SONBP2, SOOPOO, and toastcmu.

I checked my old PM's and did find this one:

"Hi Wizard!

Here is my tie breaker prediction:

Obama: 332
Romney: 206

Thanks for doing this!"

A couple close entires were:

rdw4potus: 326-212 electoral win for Obama.
SOOPOO: Sadly.... Democrats 338 Republicans 200

I think Florida has finally been called for Obama, making the final score:

Obama: 332
Romney: 206

So, Aye hit it exactly on the nail! I will be in communication with him about a prize.
