Expedia.com has a "Best Price Guarantee" where they will match the lower price, and give you a $50 credit if you find a lower price up to 24 hours prior to your booking.
My question is, what happens if you find a lower price, file a claim, then later find an even lower price? Will they continue to match the lower and lower prices?

Probably not because they make dealing with them so unpleasant and cumbersome that it becomes not worth the fifty dollars.

No, they won't. Once I beat their price by like 3$ with this website and found a cheaper offer two weeks later. They told me that since I've already took advantage of their offer once they can't offer it again.

Thanks Salvatore! It is tricky to know when to pull the trigger.

It is a marketing gimmick and absolute BS! There are many instances where you get much better pricing if you book straight thru the hotel/resort's website and then head to kayak for the airfare. Or head to JetBlue. There are times where it was a $300 difference for the same resort and flight package. I remember once in June 2011 where on Expedia a 3-day flight/hotel package with Treasure Island was $836 where on JetBlue was $520. Or in December 2012 a Wynncore package straight from their site with flight was $502 where on Expedia was $786.
Best advice is to do your due diligence and then pull the trigger and not vice versa.
