Why do you hold 4 cards to an inside straight draw (with no high cards, straight pays 4) instead of discarding all 5 cards? On 6/9 Jacks or better with the same straight payback (4 for a straight) you don't do that.

On 6/9 Jacks or Better, two pair pays 2. On Triple Bonus Plus, two pair pays 1, so I am assuming the expected value of going for the inside straight (of the 47 cards, 4 make the straight, so the expected return = 16/47 if none of the four held cards are higher than a 10) is higher than the expected value of drawing five new cards because of the reduced value of being dealt two pair. Double Bonus appears to be the same way.

Ok, that makes sense, thank you. (Of course you also have the increased payout for drawing 5 and getting quads, but of course the 2 pair scenario is much more likely).
