I like Lisa & Mandy, although they all look damn good.

Golly!! We agree again! I'm really not used to this. We should go back to talking about politics or something to restore my equilibrium:-)
And, seriously...I can't make multiple selections?!?
LOL!
As well are looking good in the photos, there are important things such as which girls which are easy to work with, provide the best natural looking photos, can easily understand what you're trying to achieve and possibly capable of adding value by suggesting alternative poses/ideas. For me Mandy looks most realistic as a dealer, although I recognise Lisa from Two Pair Pai Gow Tiles (picture).Quote: Wizard...[photographing] model pictures...
By pure co-incidence Mandy's Double Draw Poker was one of the games at the Coventry showcase last week.
Quote: WizardThanks for the votes and comments thus far. Angela and Lisa are really easy and fun to work with. Susie is not normally a model, but is my hair stylist. Someone commented on her race. She is Mexican by race. She has died her hair red for a couple years now. Judging by her Facebook page, Lisa continues to look great, but she is about five years older than when that photo was taken. Same with Susie. I may not even be able to find Mandy. I just know the health club where she is a personal trainer. She may think I'm stalking her if I send her a letter there.
I may need a haircut next time I'm in LV
Quote: SOOPOOGeez, Mike... she won't think you are stalking! You have a real business offer for her, and she obviously has done such work before. I wouldn't send a letter.... go there yourself! We need more Mandy!
Well, it still seems creepy to me, to look like I'm going to extremes to hunt her down. It isn't like there is a shortage of models out there. Even if I went there, I have no guarantee that she'll be there at the same time. Of course, I could just leave a note if she isn't.

I agree, some paranoid women out there might find it kinda creepy. BUT you could always have a female call her up for you and say that she's calling on behalf of the 'Wizard of Odds' website for a photo shoot.
Quote: Beethoven9thI'm surprised Karina hasn't gotten any love from the forum. She's kinda got that exotic look that a lot of guys like. (Hope she doesn't see this thread!)
Needed a better photo, she's my second choice.
But Lisa always looked like she was having fun in the casino, and was there as a player who happened to be very photogenic, not as a eye candy draped on a few shots to make it interesting. I certainly remembered her from previous reviews.
Ladies, am I right on this one?
In any case, she's not the ditzy model type, she seems like a normal person, just a very attractive normal person. I wouldn't say that any of the models give the impression of being trollops, per se, but if any of them did, Angela definitely does not. She's also very professional in appearance, though affable.
I think I might also be biased having watched her display her intelligence in that video interview, so yeah, there's that.
Quote: Mission146Angela looks friendly and approachable, she's attractive, but I think a woman might rather look at Angela...even though I'm not a woman...she seems like a normal and easy-going affable person. Further, men certainly wouldn't mind looking at her, either.

Women don't need to be intelligent to look good, especially a static picture.

I don't see what is creepy about one visit and a note or a return visit after when she is known to be there. Leave a business card and explain what it is for. If she worked for you before and does other modeling it should seem professional. I would say also dress in a sport coat and nice pants so you look professional.

I can generally look at an individual and accurately estimate the intelligence of that individual. I would suggest that my accuracy in doing such is in the 90% range. Generally speaking, if I do miss, it is because I perceive a lack of intelligence where intelligence exists. Very rarely do I look at someone, believe that individual to be intelligent, and then am later proven wrong.

I only met her at the gaming show last month. Thanks for the suggestions.

That's easy if you assume everybody is unintelligent!

I don't, though.
I basically have five general categories into which I lump people:
1.) Friggin' Genius
2.) Exceeds Evolutionary Expectations
3.) Meets Evolutionary Expectations
4.) Falls Below Evolutionary Expectations
5.) Driveling Idiot
I would suggest that about 40% of people fall into categories 1-3, 30% fall into category four and 30% fall into category five. It may be different elsewhere, it was different when I lived in Kansas City, perhaps 45/35/20. The denizens of my area are not universally renowned for their intellectual prowess, I'm afraid.
Just for the record, I score myself as a 2.75, or, "Slightly Exceeds Evolutionary Expectations."

LMAO! We need to roll this scoring methodology into public schools...
I think a lot of people try too hard to sound smart and come off sounding like idiots. Being natural would be a much better tactic than acting smart. I could see that being an issue with something like models at a convention.

4.) Falls Below Evolutionary Expectations---------------------------Argues with Self
5.) Driveling Idiot--------------------------------------------------------Loses arguments with Self
This seems to prove that you indeed are too generous when grading !

The great thing is that the lovely Lisa is currently one of the top contenders.
The not-so-great thing is that the lovely Karina is right there with the varmenti vote. What's up with that?!?!
Quote: WizardI'm planning to take some more model pictures for my Odds site, to give it a little more eye candy. If I do, which model would you prefer I use? Click on any image for a larger version.
Lisa
Angela
Karina
Susie
Mandy

LOL...didn't even notice that. Sure hope the lovely Karina doesn't see this poll!
And it looks like somebody else also voted for 'None of the above', so now 'None' has 2 votes. Who the heck are these 2 members anyway??
I will say if they were my only choices *Karina*. Most of them are cute and probably have great personality's.
I'm sure you run into some very attractive friendly cocktail waitresses or even some party pit girls. Would it be out of line to give them a card and ask one if they were interested, possibly a springboard to a side career for someone?
Of course, you might open up the selection process to female members of the forum many of whom disprove the mathematical theory about there being no hot numbers at a roulette wheel.

I voted for Angela for exactly these reasons before I read Mission's post on it. Angela has it all going on; very attractive, warm and welcoming, and very bright. She has the most range, I think, of the 5 women, as far as her use in Wizard products, and she's made a great start with her work in the last couple of years at being identified positively with the brand. JMHO. I'm not sure, with the predominantly male clientele and subject appeal, that it matters what another woman thinks, though; in the end, it's what you want the image to bring to your brand, not necessarily the appeal of the model. MILF/male vs. lovely and friendly vs. cutting edge hot vs. best cleavage vs. eye candy might all be different women; what do you want the hired image to say about you?
The Bodog ad was hot in a perfect way. Smart guy, slightly dazed and happy look in his eyes, mostly confident, looking great but with hair slightly rumpled (by whose fingertips?) just before the picture was taken, surrounded by a variety of hot women, all 7 dressed in coordinated metallic colors, belonging in that group. Sex and power wrapped up in one uberbrainiac package (this could be YOU, wise but shy gambler). Made me think of WSOP new generation players, playing smart is sexy and attractive to women, all that stuff. So, is that what the Wiz wants to be? Or is it another image he wants to project? Figure out what you want the customer to take away at a glance and subliminally, and the choice of model will make itself.
Quote: AxelWolfDo you mind me asking about how much you have to pay and for how long usually? Do you have to go through an agency of some kind?
I overpay these models, being the sucker that I am for pretty women, so I'm not sure what is appropriate. For doing trade shows the pay is quite low. Like $20/hour. However, I think being asked to dress up, walk all over the place, and have have your photo taken hundreds of times, deserves more.

I've learned that it isn't enough to just be pretty. A professional model will know how to work the camera. The gal in my cosmopolitan review is not a professional model. Although she is very attractive, she looks rather stiff in the photos. That is why she wasn't an option in the survey. The model Nichole in the south Strip casinos I also thought came off as rather stiff and camera shy.
