Summer is the rain season in central Mexico. That, coincindentally <w>, is when windshield wipers tend to wear out and require replacement. The driver's side wiper on my car tended to smear rather than clean on a portion of its arc, so I replaced it last Wednesday, Oct. 3rd.
And then the rains just stopped!
Ah, so all ti tkaes to end the rain season is a modest monetary sacrifice to the gods of the most synthetic rubber, right?
Well, not so much. It rained last Sunday evening...
This definitely proves any gods out there are mostly impotent.
:P

Quote: IbeatyouracesRubbing alcohol occasionally on the wiper blades and a once a month windshield treatment with Rain-X(tm) works wonders. Never once had to replace them.
The blade on this one had become dettached on the lower portion of the arc.
