Earlier this year Foxwoods (CT) changed its BJ rules form S17 to H17 where as Mohegan Sun, just a few miles away, has kept its table rules to a player favorable S17. Does anyone know if these casinos or the state of CT issue table revenue figures for these two locations? I am curious to see if table revenue decreased at Foxwoods and increased at Mohegan Sun.
Prior to this change I would usually play at Foxwoods but ever since the change, I have only gone to Mohegan Sun.

MS also has $5 minimum tables, H17, with CSM. But their standard 6-deck shoe games are indeed, thankfully, still S17.
Not sure about the revenue figures.

Slot revenues are released monthly for both Ct. casinos due to their agreement with the state. I've never seen or heard of figures for any table games.
I wouldn't be surprised if Foxwoods increases their blackjack revenue because of the installation of shuffle machines. Thus far there are 24 ASMs and 6 CSMs. Dealers have been instructed to cut off one deck or less on all blackjack games. These changes will result in an increase of hands per hour which will raise profits. They like what they see and are considering adding additional machines. I believe they will be ASMs as I have been told that they are not happy with the CSMs.
Many knowledgeable players have abandoned blackjack at Mohegan Sun because of their horrible penetration in the low 60% range. It makes Foxwoods' 8 deck H17 with 85%-90% pen worth a second look. For the $50+ player the Newport Room at Foxwoods offers 6 deck S17 with just over 80% pen. The High Limit room in MGM Grand at Foxwoods is the same except the tables are H17. Not well known is the fact that if you would like S17 on these tables just ask and your request will be granted. Be aware that these high limit pits are closely watched and are avoided by some players because of excessve heat.
