Does any one have any input on Atlantis? Things like types of table games and minimums.

That is going to be one of our stops. Any info on the games on Norwegian Cruise Lines ships would also be appreciated. It looks to me like it is just slots, blackjack, and craps. Anyone with personal experience out there?

Thanks

I know this is an old post, but since there were no replies and I just visited the Atlantis last week, I didn't want to start a new thread...

The Atlantis does indeed have a full casino, just as big and expensive-looking as any on the Strip. Unfortunately, it also has typical Vegas-style rules, so don't expect any great deals or anything.

Blackjack: Tough to find a table for under $15, even during the day...unless you want to play their one crappy 6:5 table. Tables for $15 are H17; S17 is available at $25 and up--although all the $25 games were packed when I was there. Since the resort caters mainly to American tourists, the dealer does take a hole card.

Craps: 3-4-5x odds. $15 minimums here too.

Roulette: Double-zero wheels only, at least on the main floor. Not sure about the high-limit room. $1 minimum.

Other games: 3CP, UTH (bad Trips paytable, 96.5% return), LIR, and allegedly Caribbean Stud, though I didn't see it there. Some of these are $10 if you're lucky.

In summary...high minimums and crowded tables that can be difficult to find a seat at.

I'll be back next week and will try to brave another visit...also have heard there are other casinos in Nassau that are cheaper, though probably not as nice. Will try and check those out as well.
