What's my best bet for taking a trip to Shreveport and getting a room comp on a Saturday night?

Two easiest casinos to earn comps quickly are Horseshoe Bossier City and Eldorado.
Problem is that both of those places are popular, and very likely sold out on a Saturday night.
Therefore, your best bet might be Boomtown or Sam's Town.

I am not familiar with all of the casinos, but we have played in 5 of the 6 "real" casinos that I know of there (Horseshoe, Margaritaville, Boomtown, Eldorado, and Diamond Jacks). Have not played the slots-only Louisiana Downs.
Diamond Jacks--arrived for a concert on a sold out night. Paid whatever rate they gave (maybe $150). Played about 3 hours @ $40/hand average (craps) and my wife did some slotting. They comped the room for that night. I get regular offers for two nights each month. Room availability is good; quality is average.
Horseshoe--always get offers; weekend rooms are hard to come by...
Margaritaville--same as Horseshoe.
Boomtown--Some offers but no real play, so I don't expect much. looks like it should be fairly easy to score a room here as it was never crowded when we went in.
Eldorado--first visit last weekend but it was one crowded place. We'll see if any offers come our way.
