Only jerk Corzine closed casinos' doors, plus Sandy, any other time the place was open, AC is more of a symbol like Vegas, there are people out there who won't them down.

I have had more conversations than I care to count about how casinos without a large "general floor" following and only whales will suffer the consequences.

Trop found that out the hard way. The swings will kill you and on top of that, you have to spend more money through your marketing budget to make sure those whales come back......they aren't going to come marching through the door on their own power, they want to be carried back in on a high chair with fruit dangled into their mouths by scantily clad ladies.....You can imagine the picture.

Address your inherent operating issues before trying to get only whales to play at your place......

Whales busted those guys who owned the Vegas Golden
Nugget a few years back. Won like 3mil at craps and went
to the Strip and lost it all. Oh well..

Macau thought for the longest time they can indefinitely grow their business by having a strong VIP section and not worrying too much about the general floor....

Ever since they have turned it around and started concentrating on the General floor at least as much as the VIP areas, they have had double digit growth per month for the entire 2013.....

Makes you think sometimes how the people in Vegas do business.

Corzine hasn't been governor for four years. He spent that time bankrupting MF Global, where just a couple of billion "vanished."
