MotorCity (Deeeeetroit) Play for an Hour and Stay Promo

We made the drive up to Windsor to stay in a comp'd room over the weekend,
and stopped at MotorCity to visit with my Sister-in-Law. I wasn't real excited
about MC, since the times I have played up there it has usually been at Greek-
town.

But the S-I-L treated us to a buffet lunch with her points, and it was an excellent
buffet.

They were also having a promo for a free night in the future if you gambled
for an hour. So Mrs. Q and I both signed up for that. They even let us do
the promo because we hadn't played there in years (I'm not sure how long)
even though at some time in the past we had player's cards there.

Somewhat-related story. Some of my friends tried to earn a free buffet at Horseshoe Hammond on a "play for XXX amount of time" promotion. I turns out the "XXX amount of time" actually meant you had to earn X number of points, and they were allowed to advertise it that way based on average point accumulation or something.

So I'm surprised they actually meant 1 hour in this case, regardless of how slow you were playing!
