Just saw that Maryland approved rules for blackjack and craps -
Some interesting nuggest from the gaming commission:
Looks like they will be allowed to offer single deck, double, and mulit deck. Stand Soft 17, Surrender look to be standard, with Switch being an option. If single or double deck, will be hand dealt.
For craps, looks like the fire bet will be offered, but only a 2x field bet. 10x odds is max offered.

Vig before OR after on buy bets... we know which way that will go.
If I read it correctly, 10x odds are the maximum allowed so we might see 2x (pages 20,21).
Fire bet is the only side bet allowed.
Above is what I understood from scanning it, if any of it is incorrect please tell me.

Are they going to be allowed to remove advantage players?
Edit: Mandatory Exclusion
"(3) Would adversely affect the interests of the State, the licensee, or the individual
if the individual is present in the establishment of a licensee"
Can't get much more broad than that. I'm not a lawyer, so maybe someone else will recognize the language.

This is something that I have never heard of nor seen on/at a dice table. In the draft rules, Maryland is offering "Place bets to lose". We all have seen "lay" bets but this is something new to me. Below are excerpts copied from Maryland's craps rules:
A Place Bet to Lose placed in a box adjacent to any of the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8,
9 or 10 which may be made at any time.
(a) A Place Bet to Lose shall be inactive on a come out roll unless called
"on" by the player and confirmed by the dealer through placement of an
"on" marker button on top of the player‟s wager.
(b) A Place Bet to Lose shall win if a 7 is thrown before the particular
number against which the wager is placed is thrown.
(c) A Place Bet to Lose shall lose if the particular number against which
the wager is placed is thrown before a 7 is thrown.
The facility operator shall pay out winning Craps and Mini-Craps wagers as follows:
For Place Bet to Lose on 4 the payout shall be 5 to 11;
For Place Bet to Lose on 5 the payout shall be 5 to 8;
For Place Bet to Lose on 6 the payout shall be 4 to 5;
For Place Bet to Lose on 8 the payout shall be 4 to 5;
For Place Bet to Lose on 9 the payout shall be 5 to 8;
For Place Bet to Lose on 10 the payout shall be 5 to 11;

Interesting, but we will have to see if it gets offered.
Would the Wizard disapprove of a right bettor making these bets? Doesnt seem like hedging unless you have the exact same number working already.

even with 10x odds, i think i'll stick w/e-Craps. faster, and no need to tip the dealers.
And whats mini-Craps?
hm... if single/double deck BJ pays 3:2, S17 & surrender, i might need to learn to count :)
