The British game show "The 1% Club" is getting an American version for Fox and Amazon Prime Video. The first episode is up on Prime ahead of the June 3rd Fox premiere.

This game show is a new animal, in that the questions are not trivia based, but rather they are riddles and IQ-test-style questions. I think this show will be very popular among members of this board.

Don't remind me; I missed the second question on the first episode. I didn't quite understand what they meant by "logically speaking."
The only other question I missed was the 1% question, although...

The question did not say that the password had to be a word, so any 7-letter palindrome where the first four letters are a permutation of A, R, O, T should be accepted as a correct answer

For those of you who don't know how it works, here's the quick version: a "random" group of people were asked questions, and somehow based on that, the producers calculated what percentage of all Americans would get the correct answer. 100 contestants were asked a question that 90% got right, with incorrect answers eliminating players as the questions have smaller and smaller percentages until they come to the final question, which only 1% got right.

I've watched the British version. My take-away is that the polled Brits didn't 'get it' either.
Psalm 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Proverbs 18:2 A fool finds no satisfaction in trying to understand, for he would rather express his own opinion.

I see that Patton Oswald is the host of the show. I like him as a comedian but you will have to let me know how he is a the host of the show.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.
