I try to keep these actual posts in the off topic section to be somewhat loosely connect to "gambling". But this one is out there. To me it has a connection to gambling but I will never tell you why unless you can figure it out for yourself. Feel free to post as to why you think this video has a connection to gambling for me and feel free to make fun of me if you guess why. ;-)

I'll make some SWAGs as to why this might be relevant to gambling.

1. Using arrays of acoustic transducers you might notionally be able to control a thrown die (dice) and control the outcome of a dice roll?

2. Any person who can accomplish what is shown in this video could easily tap into an automated shuffler and make it turn somersaults?

3. Using this kind of tech to power the ping pong balls in the State Lottery chamber designed to chaotically randomize the balls, a person could control the outcome of the selection of Lottery numbers?

it has to do with roulette, a guy named Robert Guierri, and one of the reasons i decided to learn about patents

If you go to https://www.888casino.com/blog/rigged-roulette-wheel, and you go down to the section "The new tricks", you will read part of a patent (i actually researched that part).

This guy Robert claims he had a special type of ball. And what he claims is true IMO based on my reasearch, except the fact that I cant prove that all of it together turnns into a rigged roulette ball and wheel. The materials(certain types of ceramics), that he described, are all used in electronics, such as capacitators, resisitors, and what not.

That article was the first time that I realized someone would be willing to type anything too a larger group of people without actually doing the research themselves, and i told the author not knowing he would become an ambassador for 888, and knowing he would use it on that page.

So i quit that forum and came here.

i think this particular ball used actoustic levitation in order to induce a wave in the ball that makes it jump, without magnets.

This ball has some kind of vibration within the ball, not necessarily how i think its done, which is through the bottoms of the landing cups, which transfer the energy into the ball below it.

and theyve had the "all plastic but still magnetically moveable" dice for "gaming protection" back since the 50s i have posted many of those pictures here as well

Interesting. I considered manipulation of roulette as a possibility for your gambling connection, but I just couldn't see how this technology might be notionally exploited.

the patent https://patents.google.com/patent/US9114940 is called "Transport of an object across a surface"

and in the very first "abstract" provided by google, the last sentence is "Embodiments using compressed air, magnetism and/or bending waves are described."

i dont really understand what you mean by "notionally exploited"

but what i believe this does is allow for a computer to chose the random number of a roulette wheel and then MAKES SURE that the ball lands in that number no matter what or how many bounces is has to create.
