The outlawing of carrying guns in public has been outlawed. Will your local casino remove their ban on carrying firearms within their premises?

In other news, smoking kills.
Juul must stop selling and distributing its e-cigarettes, and those that are on the market must be removed or risk enforcement action, the FDA says

The outlawing of carrying guns in public has been outlawed.

That's not exactly the ruling in New York State Rifle Association v. Bruen. States may continue to prohibit guns in certain locations and circumstances, like hospitals, schools and governmental buildings. The trick is that the Court's decision does not really define the contours of these prohibitions.

The decision does not affect controls on firearm possession on private property, like casinos, the prohibition of which remains unrestricted. Many casinos with firearm carry restrictions are already located in jurisdictions that have generous carry rules, so it's unlikely the decisions will change much there.

I know this topic has a lot of political overtones. Keeping the board's rules against political discussions in mind, I post my hopefully objective comments here for informational purposes only

Should Lake Mead fall below its “dead pool” level of 895 feet, Hoover Dam would be unable to release water downriver to California, Arizona and Mexico.
“We are 150 feet from 25 million Americans losing access to the Colorado River, and the rate of decline is accelerating,” John Entsminger, general manager of the Southern Nevada Water Authority,

Lake Mead has dropped to an all-time low of 28 percent of capacity. The water level was 1,044.01 feet as of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, a decline of nearly 6 feet in the past month. A year ago the lake was 1,070.5 feet (above sea level). The bureau’s latest 24-month outlook released earlier this month said it is forecasting the “most probable” lake level will be 1,014.86 feet by September 2023, about 9 feet lower than projections made just one month ago.

Only 5 of 17 electricity turbines can operate between 950 feet and 1,050 feet, so electricity output will be drastically reduced.

My limited survey of select retailers shows the shelves where this product was previously displayed to be empty. POP signage still in place, for now.
May the cards fall in your favor.
