Scallops have flavor? They usually taste like whatever you put on them, butter, Hollandaise, they have very little flavor by themselves.

I don't think I have ever had Hollandaise with shrimp or scallops. I like Hollandaise so I might have to try it.

Because it has Dijon mustard and smoked paprika in it. I don't use salt anymore and as a salt substitute I use Dijon mustard sometimes which has salt in it but not very much. Makes really good guacamole
Next, I boiled ten ounces of Barilla rigatoni and added it to the sauce with a bodacious amount of parmesan cheese. I put some olive oil in a hot pan while I mixed the sauce and pasta. I stir-fried it all for a few minutes, then added some pepper flakes and more parmesan.
I had about half for lunch and will refry the rest later.
The crumbles work fine in a sauce, but I didn't care for them on a taco.
For lunch: a couple of plastic tins of Chobani yogurt, after which I made a batch of "pigs in a half blanket" (Costco large hot dogs, each wrapped about halfway around with 1/2 of a Pillsbury biscuit) for future lunches
For dinner: spaghetti and meatballs

Do you cook the dog before you wrap them? I've had them so the roll is golden brown and the dog is well done, but never duplicated it myself.

That looks like my breakfast at Tiny's today. Only one of those hash browns would be a sausage patty, and switch Candian bacon for the ham. The southwest version of Canadian bacon, that is. They raised the price of their breakfast a dollar a plate last week, intending to drop them when eggs become affordable. They don't use powdered eggs.

The wife has been gone for three weeks but gets home tonight so I should get one real meal before I leave town on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, the wife fell asleep on the couch so no decent meal for me. I made a PB&J sandwich.
RIP Jimmy Dean. Probably had too much of his own sausage.
He died eating dinner, btw, according to his second wife.
OTOH, he was also 81.

I didn't know he was a real person. I like his croissant sandwiches, but I thought most of the brand's products were overpriced.

Quote: DRichI am out of town so the only thing I ate was a roast beef sandwich from Arby's. I got the half pound roast beef and on the app it was buy one get one free. Tomorrow for dinner I will also be having a half pound roast beef sandwich. Arbys roast beef is probably my favorite fast food but yet I probably only have it once or twice a year.

I believe you have previously stated a preference that a sandwich be bread and meat, no condiments or other adornments like tomato.
Do you think that prefering Arby's may be based on that preference, or is the sandwich just better than the other places' attempts at "Plain, Dangit!"?
Mix some milk and eggs. Soak the bread in the mixture and put in on a pre-heated frying pan. Cook for one minute and flip the bread. While still cooking, add butter, cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg to each slice. When the bread turns golden and starts to brown, it's done.
Once you've had it, you'll never look at regular french toast the same.

Chili cheese fries and a gyro.
The lettuce on the gyro was big chunks, not shreds. Not awful, just unexpected. While they have a vertical rotisserie, I have no idea if they roast the meat cone themselves, or just bring in slices and reheat them on the griddle. The pita was thicker than I like, and sadly not toasted.
I probably could have been satisfied with just fries covered in onion and tzatziki sauce.

How do you eat like that and still keep your young boyish figure. I would balloon up like the Goodyear blimp if I ate that way in a regular basis. There's more calories and carbs in than meal that I eat in 2 days.

I'm in shape.
Round is a shape, after all.
I only need to lose around 75 pounds to be on my target weight...

If you're 6'6 that's not really a problem. If you're 5 foot 6 it's a major problem

I don't think that is the case because I get all of my sandwiches plain from all the fast food places. I think I just like the taste of their roast beef (or whatever it is that they refer to as roast beef).

I am happy to say that I was able to gain 4 pounds in the last few weeks as I have been doubling down on my junk food. I was at the doctor on Monday and weighed in at a perfect 165.
I had a couple of buyers dropping by for lunch, so I placed an $80 food order with Walmart+ to be delivered between 9 and 11 a.m.
At 9:10, I received a text from a driver who said he was at my building but couldn't find my apartment. I texted him that I don't live in an apartment and that he should call me. I called the number I got the text from, but the guy said he no longer works for Walmart. At 9:35, I received an email saying my order was canceled.
I had only recently joined Walmart+, and this was their third major screwup. I called the dedicated Walmart+ phone number, and after many rings, I got connected to a regular Walmart CS. Over the next two hours, I make calls to the national number and the local store and I'm told the order was canceled because it was undeliverable. I was told that because it was canceled, I'd need to log in and order everything again, then choose a delivery slot, but today was unavailable. I called the national number, spoke to a team leader and we agreed to part ways. I'd paid $89 for the membership, and they offered me $67 back. I have an email from 9:35 canceling the order. I have an 11:45 email confirming the order was canceled and a 1:20 email confirming my membership is canceled, and I won't be charged anymore as I have no orders in the pipeline.
Just now, I got a knock on my door, and a delivery guy is there with my canceled order. I explain it is canceled, and he gives me a puzzled look. I give him an extended version of the story and tell him to take the stuff back. He says he isn't allowed to take back the food and I should call customer service for a refund. My account shows the order was canceled and the money was refunded.
Walmart is cheaper than Albertsons, but the piss poor service ruins any savings, AFAIAC.

Bill, what kind of order was it? For the Walmart deli hot case items, or just for general groceries?

I said I want to doesn't mean I'll do it. I should mention that the bottom slice of bread on those sandwiches has just as much Dijon mustard on it.
