About the settlement thing, I'd probably be getting more like 70 percent I am assuming if I go to Court and am awarded a Settlement, 20 percent would go to my Lawyer and 10 percent would go to Court costs and fees.

I don't know how shysters rip off, I mean represent their PI clients in Florida, but out west there is a contingency fee agreement where the lawyer gets one third of the gross settlement amount.

The client pays all medical bills out of his / her two-thirds.

There is no percentage allocated to court costs and fees: whatever they are, if any, they come out of the client's two-thirds.

To select a good lawyer you could go to the AVVO website and look at reviews of lawyers.

Whoever you get, reject their 1/3 contingency fee and insist on them only getting 25% of the gross or 1/3 of the net remaining after costs and bills are paid off.

They don't like it when you stick up for yourself but they'll cave in at the end, usually, and if not find another lawyer.

Do not hire one that advertises heavily: they do that because they have to.

Roulette Session went from being a losing Session to a Winning Session at Roulette today! :D I had a big paycheck again and rather than spend $150 on Lottery tickets that LOST, like I foolishly did when I got a big paycheck in July, I decided this time to be a bit more rational this time. I played $40 in Lottery, and $20 in Roulette. That $20 was gone soon, and I did a single walk of shame to the ATM. I withdrew $60(Still $30 less than that stupid $150 I blew in Lottery) I played $10 bet in Roulette on Red/2nd 12, and got decent return when Red/2nd 12 showed up. I did this like twice and again got a decent return. I won the $40 back I gambled in Lottery, the original $20 lost in Roulette and the $60 I withdrew from the ATM. Plus more, so I had a good Winning Session. :D I ended up leaving altogether with roughly $190! Or $70 up!

Nice hit. Too bad you wasted $40 on the lottery, or else it would have been a spectacular day!

Have you ever played the Diamond Lotto machines? Aside from Kitty Glitter, those are BY FAR the funnest slot machines to play, hands down, no contest.

It's not a WASTE if you got the money back, ;) It's a break even, besides I got a bundle and advance tickets,(I have 5 nights of Fantasy 5 and I bought a Grouper(Cash for life, Fantasy 5, Lucky Money, Lotto, Pick 4) aand $4 in plus EV(Some of the scratch off tickets are worth $4)

About Diamond Lotto it really doesn't excite me too much and I usually lost or just about broke even on, or just got just a little more than my bet that game when I tried it. Yuck! Is what I feel about Diamond Lotto.

Good news! I had lost a winning Lottery ticket worth $22 two days ago and found it on the STREET today! Lucky me! :D It's plain dumb luck that no one found it in those two days or that rain hadn't washed out the ticket numbers in two days. :D

I suspect this is another Jesus-like parable. Must be something significant about the 22, like how they caught exactly 153 fish in the story of the Jesus and the miraculous catch of fish.

Nathan,

Have you been studying the advantage slot & video poker plays that are being discussed on the forums? If you are going to the casinos you might as well check for advantage plays.

You might get a chance to post some photos of winning a big cashout. That would be great.

I think I have a math problem involving a train and a tunnel. What was it?

A train leaves LA headed to NYC at 125 miles an hour. A second train leaves Miami for Chicago, traveling at 70 mile per hour.
What time is lunch?
