GLXZ move looks more real, not sure what has caused it. The bid just jumped a couple of days ago to $0.35 from $0.27 with some steady nibbling. Currently I show the bid price good for 26,500 shares, normally that runs between 2500- 5000 shares.
PGD & Co must be selling some High Card Flush & Heads Up Hold'em installs :-).
I like GLXZ's outlook a lot better than DEQ's at the moment, despite their debt load.
[Edit]Earnings for 2013 should be out around the first of April.
Quote: BuzzardAny concern about cannibalization among table games in the near future? By that I mean if a casino replaces a BJ game with High Card Flush or House money, it's no likely to remove a 6/5 BJ table. More likely a BJ table with a Galaxy or Bally side bet !
1. Carnival games general replace other Poker carnival games.
2. You can't really cannibalize yourself; that's just product line evolution. A Ford Fusion sale doesn't cannibalize a Ford Focus sale; a Chevy Cruze sale does.
Both Galaxy & Bally would take a premium table game install if it meant a loss of a BJ table with a side bet every day of the week and twice on Sundays! The lease fees are much higher on HCF/UTH/HUH than they are on side bets like Lucky Ladies/21+3/House Money.

Erm, no. You can cannibalize youself. That's what the term means! (see: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/marketcannibilization.asp)
Cannibalisation is selling a product into the same market you already have sales in. So if the Fusion is the same sort of car as the Focus, you will see cannibalization. Other people's products are by-the-by, and market expansion.
Whether this is the case for your products, I have no idea.

This isn't really the case for us, as it's more product advancement, to replacing fading/obsolete games. Burying a dying product with a viable product is often the case in gaming. Not too long ago Deuces Wild was one of our primary (non-side bet) table games. Replacing such a game with HCF or Heads Up Hold 'em represents an evolution of our product line. While we wouldn't have 30 poker-type games, we could have four or five to get sales with one or two types when we would have gotten nothing, had we one or two poker game types.
Quote: SOOPOOI just sold 1/5 f my GLXZ at $2.16. Around a 9 fold increase from when I bought it. Too bad PGD is not with us to share in the glory and profits.
It's back up near $2.16. I hope Dan's widow has a bunch! This thread was started over 6 years ago. Time flies.....
