Sometimes I wonder about Josie. Cockateil just chirped a minute ago 10:05 and Josie reminded me again she was right.

You see last week I was on puter when bird started to chirp loudly. I noticed it was 10:00 on computer clock. He chirps at night to be covered up. Be silent for hours before that. Next night 9:59. Next night 10:00. Was on computer in bedroom next night 10:00.

Now I am impressed and told Josie about it. Next night was in bedroom 10:00 no chirp same at :01 :02 :03 :04 :05.
Finally 10:06 bird chirped loudly. Josie said " I knew it " Like a dummy I said " What " and in all seriousness she replied,

" I moved the cage so the bird could not see the kitchen clock "

Pretty funny too, that bird insisting on that cover, and knowing about what time it is, clock or not!

It is a funny thing about birds. Was at demonstration with a falconer a while back that would put leather head cover on a hawk when it was time for it to calm down. It's like flipping an 'off' switch.
the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!”   She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder
