life is good...beer and cigars

Some Red Hook ESB and a Padron out on my deck.......while listening to the Mariners game on the radio with some buddies......Life doesn't get any better...it's the simple things :)

I'm on my deck with a Smuttynose Robust Porter, listening to my Buccos on MLB At Bat '12. Life is good.

im a smoker and a dipper but i never liked cigars. i mean if someone gives me one to celebrate something ill smoke one with them out of respect but i never actually cared for them.

Baseball can really do it for me sometimes, and yep, even better with a cigar and a good beer.

Coming out of hockey season, baseball's pace nearly drives me nuts.

But by now, I'm into it. Watching the Nationals vs the Giants the other night, and the Nats have the lead, but they won't push Strasburg. Nonetheless, lead still looks good until the bottom of the 9th, but somehow LaRoche drops a fly ball that came right to him. Would have been the third out! Next thing you hear, "the tying run is on deck" and by golly tension is hanging on each pitch now!

Hell of road trip the Nats pulled off.

I was on the edge of my seat in the bottom of the ninth of Pirates/Cards!

No cigar for me, but tomorrow I get to go watch the Nationals beat up on the Mets and drink plenty of beer! The deep seated Astros fan in me from high school will enjoy it (86 series anyone?)
