Does anyone know the name of that actor who looks freakishly like a male Tyne Daly? He's about her age, usually plays government/military types...

This was still bugging me, so I asked at the tables tonight. Guy to my left says "yeah, Bro. That's Bruce McGill. That shit is creepy."

He's Bruce McGill. Not only do they look alike - they have the same mannerisms and speech pattern. Maybe they were separated at birth. It's possible! I saw her in 1987 coming out of a Health Food store & getting into a limo. She was so beautiful! I mean drop dead gorgeous. I marveled at how the camera didn't truly show her beauty. However she appears now onscreen, is probably not accurate. It is uncanny how much they look exactly alike!

I am really having trouble seeing such a close resemblance as everyone else. I mean, it could have been Bruce McGill, he really liked his health food stores and also limos back around 1987. It's a pretty good idea though. Do you think it would be a good defense to claim you were not stalking Bruce McGill, you were stalking Tyne Daly. I think maybe it sounds a bit too good to be true, who would want to follow Tyne Daly and collect her DNA to save for future generations? I think they would know what I was really up to doing before I ever walked away.

Yes, realize this discussion is dated; but, I saw McGill on a vintage Law & Order last night & immediately recognized how much he resembled Daly & Googled "are Bruce McGill & Tyne Daly related" & was prompted to this discussion. That so many other people were struck w/the same thought was validating & interesting.
