I have a bunch of comps I rather sell then use, and these are for any CET property. Been getting a lot of interest with the WSOP and I figure I try my luck here as well. They are in 2, 3, 4, and 5 night increments. They are usable during weekends (I have to double check since they are broken up into many offers). Here are some that I have available:

5 nights (now till 8/31/13)
4 nights (7/8/13 till 8/15/13) x2
3 nights (7/10/13 till 8/31/13)
4 nights (7/12/13 to 7/14/13) x2
5 nights (7/18/13 to 7/22/13) x2
5 nights (7/25/13 to 7/29/13) x2
2 nights (6/4/13 to 8/4/13)

I can get tickets to Celine Dion, and some other shows but they have to be picked up along with the comps I use so if anyone's interested let me know and I can work out a package deal for a show and hotel.

Help me out here by answering this question: how will someone "use" these comps unless you are there to check them under your name, using your government issued ID, and in the case of show tickets picking them up at the box office without your ID ??

Are you in Vegas and will do the check-ins and pick-ups with the person "buying" your comps? And if so, have you thought about the required credit card at check in?

Thanks.

There are a couple ways to do this:

1. I check in the hotel room with the person who wants the room. They would use their credit card for incidentals. They pay me and I give them hotel keys.

2. I check in without the person there, and ask to have their name put on the room so they can check in with an extra key. Same goes for credit cards.

I don't know how the procedure works for concerts to be honest. If I can just scalp them it would save me a lot of hassle, but I'm sure it's tied to my room comp.

I will be in Vegas from mid-June so I can get you rooms from then until the expiration date.

Boz you are correct and anyone who allows someone else to use their comps and doesn't play the appropriate amount because they aren't there will be punished by the CET computers.

This happened to me. I allowed my sister-in-law to add my name to her hotel room (even though I was not there) so that she could use my comp dollars to pay for various things during their trip (she was there with an aunt) -- show tickets, dinners. What I didn't know was that put me in the system for a trip with ZERO play. While it didn't wipe out my future comps it did knock me down by a "level" for offers. For example, in the new quarter I was rated for $850 offers instead of $1,000 offers and I missed the $1,000 level by "10 points" whatever the heck that means in the CET system.

For comped tickets the procedure is this: the person in whose name the comped seats are reserved must show up at the box office with ID.

Scalping tickets is possible off site. Take your comped tickets, leave the casino and sell them outside the property. I tried to GIVE AWAY a comped seat to Celine back in March and security was all over me. I stood by the entrance to the Colosseum and as people walked by I said "one ticket free." Security was all over my ass. When I explained my wife couldnt make the trip they told me to turn in the ticket to the box office.

Later I just stood there about to go in when a lady was telling two friends to enjoy the show -- and I asked her if she was going to see the show too and when she said she didnt have a ticket I gave her my extra.

Sorry to disagree with everyone....
But if you "sell" you rooms...your CET offers won't be affected...HOWEVER, if you swipe your TR card at ANY outlet, for ANY reason, you will then be "tripped".
Believe who you want, but just know that I make it my passion to research this exact topic...
Alan,
What happened with yours, is once your card was entered in the system as "paid with points", it actually GAVE you points, for using points...(it happened to me at Flamingo, it "tripped" me simply for using my TR card to get a discount at the buffet)

That sounds like more hassle then it is worth. I guess I'll just take the rooms included with the tickets and not go to the concerts. I'm not part of the demographic that goes to the events they keep comping me for lol.

I was only going to swipe my card for the freeplay, but that gives them only the amount on the freeplay. I guess I'm gonna have to chance it. I don't play to put my money in CET properties anymore anyway.... their VP is horrible.

Can always call ahead and tell casino hotel the name of the person(s) (you would have to put them on as your guest) that you have made the deal with and that you are giving permission to have your guest(s) pick up your tix at the hotel desk or VIP that should solve issue.

How do you "sell" your rooms? You can't sell your rooms. You can't transfer comps. You have to use your comps by checking in and showing your ID. The TR computer is tied in with the hotel computer, obviously. You check in to use a room and you are tripped.

In my case, only some of my comp points were used to cover the outstanding balance that my sister-in-law's and aunt's play didn't cover. In fact, only about a hundred dollars of my comp balance was used -- their play covered the rest. I don't think I got any credit for their hotel, restaurant charges or anything and I think it went to their own comp accounts.

Literally, they signed me into the room just so they could save a hundred bucks. That hundred bucks of comps used from my account probably cost me more than a thosuand dollars worth of offers for the next quarter and maybe longer.

Of course that $100.00 comp cost you more than they got, more than it was worth to them. Do the math. How much comp per dollar in? factor that by $100.00 and thats what it cost you to get that $100.00 comp you gave away. I personally would never sell my comp as that was basically my pay for work I put in. Same as giving away your payroll check basically.

I simply call VIP, Marketing what ever you call when you reserve your rooms, events. I tell them I will have a guest accompanying me in my room and want my guests name on the room as well. At that point I also tell VIP, Marketing that I give permission for that named guest to pick up any tix or packages & keys to room I may have. Then the guest can check into the room and has access to any show tix event tix whatever it may be. I have even met later with the guest and recieved payment for. I simply work out the details with the guest ahead of calling VIP and giving the info and ordering rooms, events etc....

Interesting.

Were you at all "nervous" about having someone check in under your name when you didn't know them, or without being there? Were you worried about being stiffed?

I have on many ocassions sold rooms that were comped. Especially the holidays I always have extra rooms all over and have built a clientel that I know and can trust. I just list their name as my gues on my reservation and they can check in then I meet them elsewhere and collect. Never had any problems.

I can help you sorta. I might be able to get you rooms at the Wynn but not sure... I never tried. I have put in about 400k over there and I hardly ask for anything. I don't know if they would give me a room for 3 days but I could ask. I lost about 12k last time I was over there but that doesn't seem like much in that High Limit Room.

However, I can get you off the Strip or Downtown. The Palms, Stations, Four Queens, Fremont, Cal.

If I was you I would take my rooms at the Palms or Four Queens because I can get you plenty of Free Food if you stay within reason. I would think 3 days for 2 people... 600 total should be enough for food as long as you take care of the gratuity.

I can really make it a nice Christmas Vegas Vacation for you... I can't do that on the Strip Properties but I can make things happen like Hugo's or Alize (Palms) or other things as well. Movie Tickets, Show maybe... I just turned down 15 NYE parties at different places and tickets to concerts.

Here is the catch... I wouldn't charge you a thing. I have so much comp it is ridiculous. The problem is that I am not the nicest person in the world. I have done great Evil in my life. I have lied, cheated and stole my way through life since my youth. I am better now in that I don't always look for the angle or a mark but that is my past so you would have to be alright driving around town with an admitted Heathen.

Actually one of my Hosts asked me for a comp on Christmas Eve for 6 people and I told them that 1000 dollars is fine but I don't care if they go over or not. I don't worry about that... I have about 5200 over there on my card. Recently I heard an old podcast on GWAE about how giving your host money and getting 5k in Free Play on your card is Immoral... Well do the words F O mean anything to those guys?? LOL... The truth is that I haven't ever got any extra FP for helping my hosts out but I have had some open comps with 5 day stays and what not and they are nice to me and never refuse me any comp when I ask even if I haven't played for months so it works but the truth is I like some of these people and don't have a problem giving away stuff to them.

You can email me at... pingpangpong1425@gmail.com

That is if your serious and really want me to pick you up at the airport... should I bring the Jeep or Nissan Altima?

Thanks for the offer
I think I will pass
I want to be on the strip because I get free meals, shows and Platinum status via points on my CET visa.
Low roller by the way. Real low. If I get the urge to gamble, I head downtown.
Hotel room I am staying at is a pretty reasonable price
I just thought I would throw an offer out there and see what kind of response I get.

I don’t blame you. Free shuttle service... Free rooms, most likely a suite. Free food. Free booze. Free Cigarettes or Cigars. Most likely Free Show or Movie Tickets. Gold Coast across the street runs Free Shuttle to the Strip. I’d decline too... I only offer these things and information because nobody ever accepts. I was thinking this would be a nice Christmas Present for me to give a little back to my fellow man but that’s ok I’ll head over to St. Vincent’s and hand out a bunch of Free Pizza and Beer.

Have fun Low Rolling on the strip... is that even possible!?

It is possible to have fun on the strip as a low roller. I'm really not much of a gambler anyway. Everytime I lay down a bet, the logical side of my brain is yelling at me saying to myself "you stupid dumb fool, the odds are against you."
Your offer actually sounds kind of tempting
but
free booze is meaningless to me, I don't drink
as to smoking, not sure casinos are so progressive as to offer for free what I smoke , though Vegas is getting there :-)
As to shows, there really isn't anything at the Palms. Any show I am interested in is on the strip or Rio and I get those for free via CET visa points. Also free food via my points
Movie? meh. I'm in Vegas, I'm not seeing a movie.
The suite sounds real tempting but that's about it
thanks for the offer but I'll pass

No biggy. Actually it saves me time and bother. I'd have to actually make sure I picked you up and get the rooms... make reservations. Oddly enough I have over 2 ounces of the smoke your talking about but I make high powered edibles in cookie or brownie or banana nut bread form. Your missing the point of free steak house, French restaurant, coffee shops, free room service... I mean it's a free deal unheard of and hard to rival. I respect your decline and wish you a nice vacation.

I do have some credibility with AxelWolf and ZenKing. When I met them at the pool hall I paid for all the drinks and time on the table via my CC. Axel had a couple of drinks and I asked if he'd rather I drove him home. He flashed over 4K in cash to us. I drive with a loaded 45 in my car. I made sure Axel got to the drop off point of his choice and he was safe when he left my car. I coulda maybe strong armed him but I am more about stealing from corporations and haven't stolen from my fellow man/gambler in about 20 years. I'm actually a good guy who has done bad things and still do bad from time to time... anyways you asked... I offered and you declined. No hard feelings either way it just didn't work out for you. Nobody offered this to me 25 years ago when I was sleeping on the sidewalk but these kinda forums didn't exist. At least I tried.

It is possible Bob Dancer or the Wiz or Axel or another member can get you a better offer on the strip.

Edit: I was thinking this is like poker... You Bluffed... I Called and your cards hit the muck faster than the dealer could handle. After the hand was over we both needled each other to no avail.

cool
I have also met Axel , he knows me.
I'm pretty much giving up on this. Got a decent room at a decent price anyway.
Don't want anybody to really go out of their way and its pretty much chump change what can be made on a 3 nite stay considering amounts gambled to get a comp.
Thanks

After thinking about this... I'd have to go look it up but someone else asked for free rooms on the strip. I posted the same offer. I can't get you on the strip... well I could get you the Wynn most likely only the room or The Hilton or SLS even Dragon Casino is manageable. So I put the offer out there... any place basically downtown... GN only room but I could get them a suite and connecting room at the 4 Qs or even the master suite that isn't really on the books on the 19th floor with all the comp you can handle. Hugo's, Chicago Brewery, Coffee Shop and or Room Service all free of charge... I don't want or expect anything in return. I'd even get the room a day early and put your name on the room and use my own CC this way we don't ever have to meet in person. LOL... they declined just like you. I guess it sounds too good to be true and feels like a set up I get that but why post the request?

Anyways this host of mine had me set up a friend/employee over at the 4 Qs. I did it because I consider this host a friend and I was doing them a solid. So this lady gets the suite with adjoining room and can't get into Hugo's because they are booked solid. I told her to tip them 60 dollars and I'm sure they will get you a table at 5 pm when they first open. She was too cheap to do that. She got sick and had a 2 to 300 room service bill which was not a problem. She left 40 dollars on the room for gratuity which I took care of on my CC... again no big deal to me. A little bit disrespectful but not a problem. However she texts me 2 weeks later after quitting her job trying to get that free deal again... lol. I told her you quit your job so you can't help me at that Casino. You made me pay 40 dollars cash and take care of your rooms and comps. Now you want more?! Needless to say we never talked again but I still will help my host out no matter what... I like that host. Real Old School Host.

Recently my play is massive with Stations and even though the Palms is under construction I cant imagine them not giving me the red carpet treatment.

I also have 8 to 10 cruise offers throughout town that I'm probably just gonna blow off. I might do the Hawaii 2 week trip and the Alaska Cruise but I just don't like being away from home base anymore.

May be a pain but what about the 2 free nights then moving to another casino. Not sure how much that could save you if any.

Overall I don't think the hotel comps are "too bad" with Caesars. I do agree every single year comps in general have been dissipating... but it seems to be the standard across the board. Even so, we're going on some scouting trips soon-ish and we're going to new locations we've never been and all I had to do was call up and boom, comped room for X nights. Certainly helps cut down on expenses, especially since being nitty AP's we'd rather sleep in the car than pay too much! lol
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Maybe not Caesars in Vegas, but Caesars AC is the WORST with Comp rooms and food comps to anything less than Diamond tier.

I recently had a trip here 2 weeks ago, on a Sunday night, where the place was fairly quiet and seemingly would have been accommodating to a Platinum card holder with over 6600 tier credits and visited CET properties almost every week for the last 5 years.

I did happen to turn a profit over $500 and was trying to leave on the late night bus back to Union, NJ. However, the 3:15 AM bus was cancelled and the dispatcher said the next bus would not be available until 5 pm. My host was not working that night and I asked a floor person by the name of Anthony if he could look for a room for the evening. It was about 3:30 AM and I had been playing for about 5 hours that night. Within seconds, he swiped my card and said "You only have 95 cents!"

I said "Okay, but I'm looking for a room and don't you have any comped rooms"
He replies "You only have 95 cents in your account, I can't comp you a room."

Rather than argue with this simpleton and waste my time. I took my card back and headed over to Tropicana. It was about 4:40 AM and I asked the first floor person I saw for a room for the evening, he said "I'll check for you"

Within 10 minutes he returned and said, I have a room but you can't check in until 5:30 AM. I said "Great, thanks so much". I went and had breakfast, checked into my room and have not gone back to Caesars since. I truly doubt I ever will play at CET properties, except MAYBE in Vegas.

But it's little things like that lose loyal customers and I fully intend on writing a letter to my host and see what their response is.

I’m not really a high level player and they comp me pretty much any weeknight in AC, weekends are usually a different story though.

This is when the right play is to use the app to book a comped room for Monday night and pay the $20 to check in early at 4am Monday morning. Then, Monday afternoon before your bus leaves, talk to a host about the early check-in fee.

Phone battery was dead, otherwise I would have booked it online. The only reason I didn't book the room before 12 AM on the website was because the no-show fee is more than the taxes & resort fees combined and I planned on leaving anyway.

And in any event, it seems like an awful lot of trouble for me to go to when these alleged Floor Managers should be able to handle this themselves. Especially when it's slow and all it takes is for them to make a phone call and get a loyal customer something they have been offered.

Went over to a real customer friendly casino in Trop and got what I needed in less than an hour with no early check in fee or argument. Seems pretty simple that Trop knows how to treat loyal players and CET doesn't.
