It just occurred to me...you ignore the little knob (on the standard chess piece ) and it even has the curvy little vertical slash... I always thought the reference was to the mitered hat, but I bet it's the chess piece.
Knuckle children, though? Bizarre.
It is a closed fist production. 😀
He was an avid bike rider. You would see him almost daily on his bike around the neighborhood (wearing a helmet and a reflective vest, BTW).
Apparently he was riding his bike in the bike lane on vacation, and a distracted driver crossed into the lane and killed him.
So yeah. Don't text and drive.
I hope they throw the book at the driver.

I call that bluff djatc, Axel told me nobody texts you :)
I thought I read that most of the accidents happened x amount of seconds after the call was completed and phone was put down.
Thank god for texting it's taken the focus off of just talking.

I wish they would speed up the testing, production and laws regarding self driving car's. I can't imagine how that's not a big priority and benefit.

There are a number of if not many states where it is illegal to use cell phone (if in hand, not Bluetooth/hands free) while driving. Pretty sure California, and I was pulled over for it in Maryland said reason let me off with warning was because had out of state license. Now I just use speaker phone while driving.

$500 fine in Illinois.
It may be worth it to some people if you can get away with it for a long time without getting caught or causing an accident. Obviously you should just get bluetooth.Quote: tringlomane$500 fine in Illinois.
