I'm impressed even more now. I was an arcade junkie through the 80's. Played every arcade and home system there was for more hours than I could ever add up.

I bet I could beat you in Track and Field and Cyberball (my two favorite arcade games of all time). It's a rare day when I ever lost in those games. Pretty good at NBA Jam too.

I'd challenge you to a game Cyberball. Before I fell into online poker, I played a bunch of Cyberball 2072 online with some of the best in the US and got lots of practice in with guys significantly better than me. Singles is boring compared to doubles though. :( Unfortunately, I don't think "Insert Coins" has a machine available. Cyberball units are super hard to find.

Now Track and Field...I was worthless at that game without some type of turbo function.

Or a pencil. No need for that with me. They didn't call me "crazy fingers" for nothing! :)

I'm not convinced Dice Control is possible in a Casino WHATSOEVER . Is it possible for someone with his or her own craps table to sit or well I mean stand at home in perfect conditions and control the dice? With conditions like the same room temp, same table, same dice, consistent game flow. A guy who can seemingly throw certain numbers at home more often. I think that would most likely change in a new location. I seen a "dice controller" during a video session on a private table ask to handle the stick himself while he toss his dice (Don't laugh). Try asking that at the casino next time LOL. It's Not likely going to happen however I once played a promotion that the casino let you spin the big 6 yourself. I'm not convinced even under the best conditions its possible to gain an edge with dice control. However If I didn't know better I would not think a guy with a stick and some small balls could have extraordinary precision control over many balls and do seemingly impossible trick shoots. (not normally taught in days or months but over years of daily practice in which even some dedicated people cant even achieve )Then again the balls are round and smooth, sticks are straight and smooth and everything is made for accuracy and skill. Craps tables and dice are made with supposed randomization in mind however I have seen some evidenced of bias dice which is a whole diffident controversial subject Which, in my mind has a lot more potential then dice control but the so called dice control experts try to discredit this for obvious reasons. Who the hell is going to pay for dice control lessons having to deal with biased dice when they can just find a table with a bias dice edge. I would say if your a young gun and have saved up several thousands of dollars don't wast your time and money. Let the guys who have tons of money and time test it.

Hey Ahigh
I just checked out some of your videos. I am quite impressed by your practice and research and tools analyzing your rolls. Maybe I am wrong and you can influence the result in craps. Quite interesting. Makes me wnt to go to Vegas and play some craps, and craps isn't my game.

Thanks for the feedback. Positive feedback it seems is harder to come by for me these days.

I appreciate it.

I will play for money at any of the sports games but could never get anywhere at Crystal Castles. To this day I don't get that game.

The above is an image of the creator of Crystal Castles, Franz Lanzinger. Franz and I worked together briefly at Atari and became good friends.

I took this photo just last week during Franz's postmortem on the game of Crystal Castles. I also had lunch with Franz on Monday.

While I was playing asteroids in that picture above, Franz was playing Centipede right next to me.

Franz was also the Centipede world record holder before working at Atari, and showed his world record breaking score certificate during the presentation. I think his record score was 2,999,999 IIRC.

Franz and I played Millipede almost every day while we worked at Atari, and while I don't remember, I think I was about as good as him. Franz helped the creators of Millipede tune the game with his expert knowledge of playing centipede.

I got the centipede high score while at the GDC show last week, but it was not very impressive and took a couple of tries.

I have a Millipede Centipede cabinet here at the house for anyone who finds themselves over, they are welcome to play!

Hopefully people understand though that I am a gamer first and foremost, and craps is just my most recent focus. But understand I am a gamer first and foremost, and the money is just what I have to have to play it, not something I expect to get, nor the reason that I play.

Great stuff Ahigh. Thanks for showing another side of you than what most see on this site. I am sure we could talk for hours, or I could listen for hours and craps would never come up.
