Tesla's problems with its Cybertruck just keep getting more ridiculous. An East Coast buyer ordered a truck and was told it would be about a month before it was delivered. A week later, he was told it was in stock. While inspecting the truck, he discovered it had been made nearly five months ago, and had been sitting in a lot in Arizona, exposed to the elements for months. He passed on the truck and was told it would be months before a car with his wants would be made; Tesla has too many unsold ones, so they need to sell the inventory before the summer sun destroys the tires.
The older I get, the better I recall things that never happened

I had a slow leak on one of my tires. The valve stem had disintegrated. The tire is only 4 years old. The valve stem was replaced for $25, but I still have a slow leak so I have to pump up the tire once a month or so. They told me the tire was at 5/32nds of an inch tread. I went for inspection elsewhere later and they say the tires are fine with over 7/32nds of an inch tread. So my red alert to get new tires for inspection turned into a very dim yellow alert.
As the seasons change the TPM sensors that read out the pressure on my dash show that I need to fill up the tires for freezing weather and again for 70 degree weather. Tires get overinflated on the highway in warmer weather, and I never cared about that before for decades. But I usually had leaky tires and had to pump them up every couple of months at the free pumps at the gas stations. It's getting really hard to find free pumps anymore, they want a dollar, for air. So I bought a battery operated air pump I can use and recharge via USB.

The Lowe's home centers near me have free air pump, outside right by the Pro desk. Nearest one to me is a mile up the road, so I go there wherever I need a top off. Your mileage may vary, if there is one close by. I too, however, have purchased a USB air pump.
