What they say and what they can legally do are 2 different things.
Can they actually deny paying you a handpay for someone else's card in the machine?
They probably can get away with it at least.
I wonder how this will go over however if someone innocently sits down at a slot and plays not realizing someone left their card accidentally in the slot.
Person A has their account closed while person B is denied their jackpot?
Let it happen a dozen or so times and let's see how well the casino keeps it's customers

I'm going to assume the casino mgmt isn't brain dead and will check the cameras before denying a $1200+ payout.
If it's seen that the person is multi-carding then deny payout.
If the card was in there before s/he sat down then pay

I'm the most honest person inside the casino. If I see a $100 bill or even just a nickel on the floor I am not touching it. Can't afford to kill the golden goose over petty greed.
Since use of another players card is legal then it's honest. Sorry to be argumentative about this.
Interesting that the casino mentioned nothing about enforcing this to the fullest extent of the law. Honestly (no pun intended) the casinos have all come to realize at this point that multi-carding is legal.
At any rate those signs wouldn't stop me. You want to avoid winning a jackpot on another person's card at all times as it can lead to cards being pin locked and perhaps an eviction. About the only thing this changed is an accidental jackpot would not be paid. Just more of the danger inherent with multi-carding

A Poster on this website recalled the time the person who ACTUALLY had a Player's Club card accidentally left his Player's Club card in his machine and left. An unsuspecting Player came a little while later and inadvertently played on the other person's Player's Club card. The second person won a HUGE Jackpot and the Casino Staff Members said they wouldn't pay out the Jackpot because that was someone else's Player's Club card in the machine. The second Player was furious as he didn't even KNOW there was a Player's Club card in the machine in the first place. The Casino Staff Members said they would have to call the ACTUAL person who owned the Player's Club card and give that person the Jackpot as The Jackpot was won on the other person's Player's Club card. The second Player was even more furious and pointed out that it was HIS money that won the Jackpot and he was the one playing. Eventually, the Casino conceded and paid the second Player his Jackpot. 💡
