I was going to say, I watched a doctor do his at 175°. Similar.

I have to suggest at least 165°, because that is the minimum temperature to kill bacteria in meat.

That reminds me, too little heat can actually help grow bacteria. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I achieve nuke level when I do it. Not sure it helps viruses, but there's likely to be bacteria after wearing something so it's still important not to undercook.

Face, I am impressed. I totally expected the polar opposite from you. I thought you would be the rebel saying F this, I am going to live my way. I guess I really don't know much about you from 1000 posts.

"My way" is so little affected as to say it isn't at all. 40 days without a hug from my kid is painful, but put in perspective it doesn't even register, 'specially when I'm doing it to protect him. Add in a delayed gun purchase and wheeler trips now being tote-your-own instead of trailer and crew cab, and that's the sum total of how "my way" is affected. I'm hardly suffering. There's nearly zero difference in my day-to-day. 'Cept now I wash my hands. A lot.

That post was more for those with deep and legitimate concern. My attempt at comfort, I guess. And for those who likewise are in a "zero tolerance" situation, I thought it'd be helpful to see one who's in it and lasting. At least so far.

If it makes you feel better, if we put aside others' pain, I'm loving this more than even you. Everything's shut, there's no traffic, no phone calls, no visitors, there's a mf'in national mandate that you can't bother me. I'm positively giddy. My job's guaranteed so long as the country stands, I lost 18lbs and counting, my smoking is down from 40 a day to 2, and in possibly the greatest disaster the modern world has seen, I get to be in the middle of it. Helping people.

Should me and mine make it, it'll be a life highlight.

why can't you just soak it in rubbing alcohol and let it air-dry? Better yet just soak it in some 151 wear it wet and get a buzz going at the same time. Wouldn't the alcohol kill any incoming germs if it were still wet? Perhaps you can't breathe if it's wet?

I was wondering if you are protected at all with a water barrier. Like breathing through a big bore water pipe. Bubbles coming up through water probably will still release some virus.

Are you still trying to justify your bong? I get it, it is medicinal.
