MGM dealers are not union.

I was told NO DEALERS in Vegas are unionized. I donít know if thatís true or not, but Iím pretty sure itís true or at least very close to true.

"The Culinary and Bartenders Unions are negotiating new contract language to provide greater measure of security for members including workplace safety, sexual harassment, subcontracting, technology, and immigration."

Why would immigration be part of the negotiating and new contract?

If Reagan hadn't killed unions, we wouldn't have these silly talks about health insurance. People and their employers could have negotiated a fair deal, without all this government overreach.

Unions were dying long before Reagan came along. They are outdated and living in the past.

I'm pretty sure you are right. Same for slots..so gaming wont be affected persay..people will have to wait for their drinks slightly longer I guess. There will be plenty of replacement workers I'm sure.

Any AP should definitely want dealers, bartenders and so forth to have as much money as possible.

The casinos and bars get a % of that money back anyway. I would love to know how much bartenders, dealers and cocktail waitresses lose on avrage a month gambling.

Isn't there a formula for that? Wage - rent - food = gambling losses * 0.8.

Which is why you want them to make as much as possible.

Really, just in general, but especially if you rely on gambling, it is good for almost everyone if many people have well paying jobs. Then they can put money into your industry.

It's bad only if you are an elite and can't stand the thought of other people having even a little money and power.

There used to be some fairly good casino employee promotions around town, I see some from time to time, but nothing like they used to. They need to show some love for the employees who gamble it up.

I'm willing to give them some ideas (-;
