And he actually said it right to their faces...
He HAS to have dementia or something. There's no other logical explanation.

Because someone’s vote changed over this? I believe it only reinforced the reasons why many of us voted for him. And if you didn’t this doesn’t change your hatred of him, even if your 401k is up 23.7% under President Trump. Of course if you cleaned balls for a living for more years than any human should ever have to, no amount of money will make it better.
PS V, if I ever need a lawyer on the Pacific Coast, your my guy.
The bull market is 103 months old. Trump owns 11 of them.
Does Trump have anything to do with recent gains? You could make that argument, that his election put confidence in Wall Street. But since he has passed ZERO major pieces of legislation with control over all branches of government, that's all it would be... an argument.
Quote: BozBecause someone’s vote changed over this? I believe it only reinforced the reasons why many of us voted for him.
Yeah, I have to agree with Boz. This moronic aside didn't lose him any support. At this point, Donald's remaining supporters like when he spews racial slurs...
S&P 500 was up 27.5% year/year from 31-Oct-2012 to 31-Oct-2013 (Obama reelected)
S&P 500 was up 22.5% year/year from 31-Oct-2008 to 31-Oct-2009 (Obama elected).
Conclusion: Obama should have served a third term?
S&P at 825.88 as of 1-Jan-2009
S&P at 2,278.87 as of 1-Jan-2017
+176%, or an annual compound return of 13.49% over 8 years.
S&P is only up 14.8% since inauguration day. Come on, man.
The S&P increase during the Obama years followed a 37% loss in 2009, and was due almost entirely to Quantitative Easing, where the Fed injected $4.5 trillion into the economy, driving down interest rates. The Fed caused 93% of entire stock market's move since 2008
Corporations that borrowed at low interest were expected to invest in R&D, real estate and job creation. Instead, they spent it on share buy backs and executive bonuses. They're still doing it. NY Post
"He had opportunities to help the working class, and he passed them up." WAPO
The crash test will come in 2018, as the Fed plans to reduce it's balance sheet by $2 trillion through 2022.
This is the President of the United States doing this. All in just the last 12 hours.
I'd like to say this stuff is shocking, but at this point if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet I wouldn't be more surprised. And we still have 3-7 more years of this. Hope you guys are stocked up on popcorn and alcohol! At least his utter insanity doesn't seem to be having any effect on the stock market.
So..... is fake news ok or not???? I guess only when tweeted by the President.
smh
But, boy howdy, does it sure rile up the base.
Quote: rsactuaryAnd to add to the anti-muslim videos he retweeted... when asked about whether the videos were real, Sarah Sanders said it didn't matter if they were real or not, it's a real threat.

It's all diversion. Trump's chumming the water in all directions. If the media is talking about sex scandals, muslim rabble-rousing, personal attacks, whatever skunks Trump can run over, they're NOT talking about stuff that matters. Chances are something really ugly is actually happening.
I'd bet on one of 4 things, maybe more than one.
1. Mike Flynn defection has really turned up the heat in Muller's investigation. They would only give Flynn protection if he can nail Trump himself.
2. North Korea is freaking them out, and China is refusing to play.
3. The tax bill is horrific but likely to pass if people keep obsessing about diversions.
4. The damage being done to all govt agencies is close to complete, and like a termite ridden house, the whole thing is about to collapse.

My money's on 3 and 4. The Trump administration doesn't want people to pay attention to how they are destroying Washington due to their own incompetence.
I think the Meuller investigation is more bark than bite. I don't think anything substantial will come of it. I'm certainly not holding my breath on that angle.
Same with North Korea. More barking than biting, the usual posturing from Fat Boy Kim, a few temporary sanctions to keep them in line, etc. Just a little bit more intense than usual what the missiles they've been shooting into the ocean, but basically more of the same.
I'm really disappointed with our liberal army of saboteurs.
Quote: rxwineIf there is a plot to get Moore out of the race with fake accusations, why didn't our liberal army recruit 100 women to claim Trump groped them from behind.
I'm really disappointed with our liberal army of saboteurs.
Maybe they did? O_O
This is probably very bad news. I don't think he was doing a particularly good job, but at least he was trying diplomacy. And he was almost completely hamstrung by Trump's effort to gut the State Dept, including refusing to let Tillerson bring in the staff he wanted.
CIA Chief Mike Pompao is expected to replace him.

The ironic thing is that the people around him are not calling him a genius. "Idiot" and "f**king moron" are just a couple of the terms that have been made public.
The guy is clearly beneath the office of the POTUS.
MA-GA!

Sometimes I think about the amount of money it would take for me to sell out to a ridiculous job that goes against much of what I believe, a job like a Trump yes-man, or Chris Christie’s human m&m dispenser, or Ted Nugent’s personal assistant.
I think my number would be around $175k/yr. Maybe $150k for Ted Nugent since I bet a lot of it would be getting drunk and shooting guns. I guess I’m a cheap sellout.

The only way hes getting elected again with 33% favorability is if the election is rigged or he has help from russia
I rather like Trump and so far so does my portfolio. I hope he keeps up the good work.

Donald is so old and fat, we may need a "Trump's final 100 days.... of life" thread before then!

Yep, sure. Regardless I suspect some people need a little reminding of how sure they were the last time they predicted that he would lose. LOL.

I don't believe Nate predicted a winner. He assigned probabilities to each candidate, but did not pick a winner.

You put money on Romney winning, imo, and didn't pay off. So explain why please? I know all the mods are on my side here. So good luck.

I suspect that 5 years after Donald's 80,000 vote electoral college victory, the righties here will still try to rub it in the face of the lefties.
Lock him up!
Almost as good as Fox covering the hamburger emoji while everyone else was in rolling coverage of the Manafort indictment.

The No Toss-Ups map at RCP has Clinton at only 273. I don't see why she has a 69% chance to win. It looks closer than that with momentum going Trump's way. I think election night my go into extra innings.
I won't say I predicted the upst, but by Election Day I could smell it.
Here is Fox debunking every other network coverage of Flynn lawyerd refusing to share information with Trump lawyers as proof he is about to flip
They even touted democrat (turncoat) alan dershowitz expert opinion as a lawyer that those claims were nonsense by the left media

Just a few days later Flynn flips lol
Seems like we're getting close to the ballgame.

I'm more likely to say I wouldn't do it because that's not the way I am; and not give much thought to it until it happened, at which point I would give no thought or other resistance to it.

What are these people thinking during an investigation. Hmm, gee, I think I'll lie and go to jail.

1) The lie works, he gets away with whatever and is in amazing grace with trump for lying for him.
2) The lie doesn't, you make a deal to protect yourself 100% by selling trump out.

In fact, it's even better if he gets caught, because then he can write a book about it and profit! Then he can get a sweet gig as an adviser for the movie/s that will inevitably be made about all of this.
EDIT: Also, Trump hasn't tweeted anything in 7 hours, now. Wonder if he's too busy with his lawyers to comment on the situation.
