$1k promo chips- What game to play?

I have $1k promo chips thats only good on even money bets.
I get real chips for a win but they take my bet and dont give me anything for that.
So basically only 50% value. 😞
No, i cant convert it to free slot play. I tried.

Anyway, what game to play ($15 min)?

Im thinking craps (up to 100x odds).
Promo chips for the flat bet so there's 0% house edge.

Start with $15 flat/150 odds playing dont and press odds by $30 with each win. If the point is made, start over again.

i plan to bring $4k cash. (too much/little?)
Other suggestions? Baccarat (banker)??

Note: dont want to play bj because they give even $ on blackjack if you're using promo chips

What's your objective? Were you going to play craps? 66 line bets will take a couple of hours to resolve. If you want to minimize your playing time, you can bet $500 on each of player/banker or pass/don't pass. For baccarat, you'll get $475 or $500. For craps, I'd just take the gamble that the 12 doesn't show.

One large line bet vs 66 small line bets doesn't change the vig. Most importantly, not everyone is disciplined to stand there for 2-3 hours at a craps table and make absolutely no other bets.

Why play with odds?

Is your goal to play and have fun? Or simply convert the chips to money with the best value / rate? Most likely, TCP will be the best game to play.

100x do you still play craps a lot? If so then you should just use them on the pass line. Since you were going to be playing anyways then they are essentially worth full value.

Confused.... Even on pass line they don't have full value I don't think ..... But they are one time use not play till you lose chips - but I could have missed something

I'd place the whole wad at once. This is my best strat for the max gain on what you have.

5 hundred free chips on the pass line.
AND
5 hundred free chips on the don't pass line.

Then Just let this dual bet resolve itself.

IF by chance you happen to get the boxcars on the come-out:

5 hundred free chips on the pass line.
AND
put $500 cash on the don't pass line.

Then let this dual bet resolve itself.

That would be a terrible option ...: on the second bet just awful

cant do Player in Bac. Only Banker.

I like playing craps (thus my username).
if the best EV game is craps, then yes I have no problem standing there for 2-3 hrs.
In Vegas, I used to do 6hr+ stints at a time altho that was playing Pass.

stopped playing 2yrs ago when my local casino increased the coin-in to get a point on e-Craps.
but I still like the game.

yes, one time use.
once the bet resolves, I get paid only for the win. they take the promo chips but I get paid nothing for the flat bet.

One bet strategy to change to real money immediately. Skip the grind.

You could always try to sell the $1,000 in promo chips to someone for $750... as the mass majority of casino goers will consider that a good deal. That would probably be very +EV.

If you're not going to AP with them and want to have some fun, pick the lowest house edge in the game you like the most and have fun.

If they are play once and lose then do numbers at roulette.

If they were play till you lose then you might well play any reasonable Even money game - for instance (using round numbers)
Roulette Red/Black - Pr$490 on Red; Pr$490 on Black; Pr$20 on Zero (single zero assumed) will either leave you with $700+Pr$20 or Pr$490 + $490. Eventually you're going to get most of it out. (Similar logic applies to Craps.)

However if it's once use only then you're better off betting numbers on roulette (again assuming single-zero, though double-zero is second best option.)
Roulette Red/Black - Red 495 Black 495 Zero 10 = get back 495 or 495 or 350.
Roulette Numbers - Pr$27 on each number (total wager = 999!) - cash returned is 35*27 = $945. (Even if it was 38 number, you'd get back 26*35 = $910.)

btw if you come across a "free bet if you lose at the horses" then similar logic applies, assuming all else equal (which it usually isn't) you're better off backing an outsider than the favourite or on a handicap race like the Grand National where there's lots of runners (although these days the HE has become lousy).
