Had a great 5 day trip. I stayed day 1 and 2 at Flamingo, comped. Great room on 12th near elevator. I could be out of my room and in Bill's in 2 minutes(tried rapid craps and not that impressed)or CR in 3 min or Osheas in 2 minutes. My elevator was never used it seemed but by me and the hotel was packed. I read some scary reviews about the Flamingo but decided to stay anyway. Made mistake of not going to starbucks next store and drank some rot gut coffee in the hotel. I have now been to all 7 buffets on the special(took two trips). RIO(regular not seafood) and PH are the best. PH you can usually walk right in. The cashier told me they have a regular flow and not big back ups like the other places. PH has 6 continents of food. Asians filled the American section getting cheeseburgers, I concentrated on the middle eastern region. Paris I was not that impressed but it was tasty. Stay out of IP. They try but are really pushing the coffee shop. Harrahs and Ceasers are average. I expected better from Ceasers(closed wed/thurs). Flamingo has very, very good asian and sushi. IP has gone to $5 craps on Fri-Sun from $10. CR has gone to $5 craps on FRi-Sun from $3. PH also gone to $5 when slow on Fri-Su. Osheas has $5 craps fri-sun and a great live band at 7pm. The place was rocking and the tables were hot. Two people deep to get to tables. A lot of very drunk people. Osheas has introduced backgammon with two hot ladies giving lessons. Nobody was playing it. My craps dealer was watching the backgammon ladies instead of the game and missed a $5 boxcar. It hit. That caused a major delay especially after the players said they heard it. They would not pay the guy. He was pissed. MB has pressed the grind to more $15 and $25 tables. They change the rate every 5 minutes it seems. As soon as 4 poeple play at Craps they raise the min but do honor grandfathered as long as you are playing. CR does not grandfather anymore but still gives card holders a free subway and $10 in food every 30 days and keeps the booze flowing heavily. I had to wave off drinks(too many). Venitian and Palazzo were packed. People everywhere. Mins were $10 and filled. Bellagio was packed with high mins. I do not like that place. They have am attitude problem or suffer from the classic of judging a book by its cover. Ceasers was running $10 during the day and $25 at night. CR and Ellis Island both asked for valid ID before being allowed to partake in free slot spins. Something new? They said they cannot pay unless you have a valid ID. Older lady in front of me could not play, no id. Ellis Island still has best ribs($11.99 with card, more then you can eat per serving and best pizza(2 for 1 on thurs) and great home beers. Day 3, 4, 5, stayed at theHotel at MB. Great everything as usual, comped. Huge apartment like suites(see my review of theHotel at MB). They let me check in at 9 am which is nice. Great live bands with plenty of girls to dance with. They also have a loud party pit on the other side with beatiful dancers. Music was too loud for me. Had to use sign language to place bets. Women everywhere. The games would stop. That is what I like about the MB. Bikinis during the day and short dresses at night walking past the tables and playing. The have a great barista and starbucks right in the casino. Poker room was fun and very laid back with no smoking. Two daily $40 buy ins for $2k in chips. Great sports book area. The sport clerks are actaully very nice and will answer questions. Huge screens with a terrific cheap new york style deli. Taxi to Ceasers for $12 bucks. No walking needed. Luxor was dead. Excaliber was packed with children. Good trip. Heading to Wendover this weekend.

Luxor was dead when I was there in March too, that place seems like it was once great but now has fallen into decay
