Quote: AxiomOfChoiceI don't understand why the right of the innkeeper to lock him out is important. This isn't about an innkeeper locking him out, it's about an innkeeper assaulting him and his family. Even if they were correct to lock him out and ask him to leave, the force used when he refused was unreasonable. (I assume that the Innkeeper's rights in NJ don't include the right to assault customers)
That's just your opinion. Others have differing opinions. That's why it will be decided by a jury or at minimum Attorney negotiations.

Yeah, I'm sure that a jury will be really sympathetic to some big security guards who beat the crap out of a teenaged girl.

You've obviously not lived on this planet for long and/or never served on a jury if you think some of the people that serve on juries are qualified to do so.

That's the part of this that will keep it out
of court. They shouldn't have done that, it
was over the top, even for knuckle dragging
casino security.

Is that a separate incident and separate lawsuit from the male? I would think so? I would say the daughter has a much better chance of winning than the father? Maybe they file 3 different lawsuits, one of each person/incident?

FleaStiff, who seems to be keeping up with this, said they've filed the girl's lawsuit, neither of the parents' yet.

If they were to win on one and lose on one, what's the overall effect? Cancel out each other?

This has nothing to do with how qualified they are. Anyone human being who has not been brainwashed, when they see a team of security guards assaulting and injuring a teenaged girl who has done nothing wrong, will feel sympathy for the girl and not for the security guards.
Considering that you are the same guy who sent Grojean an email, told him that you work for a casino, and asked him to buy a copy of his book, and then was surprised when he would not sell it to you, I would suggest that perhaps you are the one who does not really understand how the world works and how other people think. If this tape gets played in front of a jury, these guys are toast.

Someone please tell me this was said in jest? lol...
Quote: EdgeLookerI think the family would still be happy winning just 1 out of 3, unlike my baccarat play, lol.
If the attorney is doing it on a contingent fee basis for a third it's a wash LOL
Quote: 72BlazerAnymore news on this? I hope Harrah's gets taken down hard. It blows my mind that some individuals believe this was acceptable. I guess some people need masters.
Didn't go through the whole thread again, but if it's the incident I'm thinking of, the family was pretty aggressive and loud, no? Seems like both sides were at fault.
