OK - not sure of the name but how about an end of year Awards thread where we can nominate fellow forum members for "awards"

I think this could be fun. But we'd need rigid categories. And alcohol would help. Maybe we could work the details out between now and late spring, and do a live awards presentation at WovCon IV around Memorial Day?

I think your idea has great merit and would be a social experiment of note, unfortunately there are too many negative, sand bagging, low balling, bitter, break even, maladjusted people on ALL BOARDS so it would just be a headache for Wiz and Mission to try and regulate all the nonsense that would be spouted.....

I personally like the idea but only if it is items like mentioned in the OP. I don't like the ideas like best troll and such. Why give idiots a reason to post more and if it would ever get to real awards why would one show up to get embarrassed.
