can you make a reasonable guess on how many puzzles i completed in this book given this incomplete information?
theres 300 puzzles with 4 puzzles per page (2 on the front with 2 on the back).
i rip out pages when all the puzzles on the front and back of a page are complete.
i was only able to rip out 2 pages total.
ive at least started on every single puzzle in the book.
how many puzzles would you guess i have completed?

It's highly dependent on how the difficulty of the puzzles is organized in the book. If the beginning of the book only has easy puzzles, then you may need a sudoku tutor or a script for adderall. If each page is organized as: easy, medium, hard, and "F you", then it's quite possible you have completed over 200 puzzles and have been effed over on many pages. I'm assuming (hoping for) the latter personally.

assume each puzzle is of equal toughness.

If that's the case, in theory, you should have completed (2/75)^0.25 = 0.4041 = 40.41% of the puzzles on average, I think.
I could have goofed on something probability-like; it wouldn't shock me.

I agree with tringlomane. You should have approximately 123 puzzles completed.

If you solved 2 pages out of 75, we could estimate p^4 = 2/75, so p=40.41%.
I guess p*300 isn't the correct solution, since we have additional information available (namely 2 full pages and 73 non-full pages).
