Diamond - 15,000 tier points
Seven Stars - 150,000 tier points
Not positive, but I think you might have heard wrong about Platinum. I heard it was going to 5000 Tier (which makes more sense, imo).

You could be right - I am posting verbatim what my friend told me.

If they do this, it will be totally lame. Getting to platinum as is (4000 Tier Credits) is not exactly difficult, but for a medium roller who only makes a few trips to Vegas per year (i.e. myself), it is by no means guaranteed. If they have no middle ground between 0 and 11000 Tier Credits, I'll be pretty disappointed and will likely never depart gold status again. This would probably impact my future play as even though there are no "concrete" benefits, I tried pretty hard last year to hit Platinum, just because it felt like "achieving" something (lame, I know).
Actually, if they do this, it would probably be a net win for me. I would have less incentive to earn points, and hence would play less craps and focus more on advantage plays. Funny how my brain works...

Yeah, as I was typing the reply I was thinking "but no more lame than anything else perpetrated by casino operators in the last 5 years to increase profits and decrease comps." But for some reason I didn't type it.
Won't be shocked at all if this change is true.

If 2,500+ Tier is earned in a single gaming day, guests will receive a bonus of +5000 Tier!!

That would be awesome...then if I put in 2500 Tier points in a day, I'll really earn 7500 Tier Points...damn, that would almsot make 7* attainable
$30k once a month for 7* would be NUTS!

This may be possible, but add a lot of new Seven Star players to the ranks from medium slot players who only visit a few trips a year, yet earn 2500-5000 a day. Basically 20 2500 point days would now be Seven Stars with the bonus whereas it was only halfway there in the past.
My response was, "Yeah, I can see that happening, and I am okay with that. As soon as my free trips stop, so does my craps play at that casino."
Funny how a game with great rules 5 hours away by car can free you up from a casino's supposed grip.

Yes, we should get together at Cherokee sometime. Since I have a long, driving trip through Mississippi and Florida planned for January, I don't think I'll make it back to the NC mountains until February.

Feb. could work for us. Cherokee may have their additional craps tables opened by then, and they will be 5 months more trained too, which will be a big help. I have tentative plans to go to Beau Rivage the first of March to play golf at Fallen Oak
