If you can offer any help, contact me at sparra313@gmail.com.......It's ok if you wish to remain anonymous.
Also, if you can possibly get my wife a job dealing in the same poker room the finders fee to you will be $5,000. She has the same experience as me (she's a little better)....But she is having our child and wont be ready to work until February.
Congratulations on the upcoming new citizen.
Quote: sparra313I am offering a $2,000 finders fee to anyone that can get me a poker dealing job in a busy poker room. I am ready to relocate almost anywhere in the US. I have a year and a half of poker dealing experience. I have dealt and supervised all other casino games for over 12 years. Look up my Linkedin profile at http://lnkd.in/2wFqTA

I'm one of the resident skeptics here, Sal. May I call you Sal? "Trust but verify" as Ronald Reagan used to say. Having gotten that out of the way I'm going to assume that this post is legitimate and that this is not someone having fun at the expense of the real Sal.
Is this your only method of seeking employment or is this a last resort? You are all over the internet and you seem to have more than enough experience to land a job in the casino industry. Why limit yourself to poker and why pull up roots now? Aren't you currently employed? That finders fee could be used for trips to the major markets for a first hand look at what's available. Boots on the ground, Sal, boots on the ground.
If you are serious there are people on this forum who can provide you with invaluable insight and they may not all expect to be compensated. We will soon know if you are serious or if you are just another one time poster who slips away into the night. Either way... buena suerta!
I suggest you look for well managed poker rooms. So avoid places like New Mexico wherein everything is manana with casino management. You deal poker in New Mexico and you will have to write a memo before you yawn.
In Vegas, yes fire a gun into a crowd and you are likely to hit a poker dealer ... but try the Venetian and the M Resort for well managed poker rooms. If you get lucky and get an audition remember, they don't want automatons. They do not hire robots as dealers so if you can't interact with the players don't bother them.
I can never keep things straight between Silverton and SouthPoint so try both.
Biloxi was auditioning poker dealers every Friday at 8:30am for a while way back when, but I've no idea whats happening there now.
Tips are good and great dealers are few are far between. Good place to raise kids also. GOOD LUCK !

Which is?
Obviously, I'm interested in gaming math as well, but I have no official experience in it. I've deconstructed some slot machines to determine returns from the IGT PC games for "fun". :)
