Reviews particularly of the smaller clubs are rare. Vegas Made Easy has a very good article but its a bit old. I don't even know if The Library is still open these days but it was always considered one of the better local clubs.

It is closed now.

FWIW, the one I take visiting friends to is CH3. Not saying it's a bargain or anything, just a consistent quality of dancers and you can spend as much or as little as you want ... all strip clubs have grabby women but this seems to moderate it at least a little to where you can sit and watch if you want.. Hustler isn't bad on nice nights where the roof is an option. Not a fan of SR, although Saph pool is better than the club proper, IMHO.

I don't go to Vegas for strip clubs and quite frankly all I'd really want to do is own one rather than actually patronize one. They make good money. One in Vegas is now hosting a comedy room and has hired a locally famous feminist-comic to be the Mistress of Ceremonies.

If you look at the architecture ...(no, no... I mean the furniture) you will see these places clearly make money and go upscale at the drop of a hat. Some of them are now winning culinary prizes for the depth and breadth of their menus and free lunches.

When I first moved to Vegas (the second time) I was riding the bus back from downtown along Freemont/boulder hwy. This young guy was hitting on this girl in front of me. When she told him she worked at the library, he was impressed, then went on about how he wished he could get more book smart. She never corrected him, but she got off at the right stop for The Library.

I know of a guy who's heart was broken when he scouted the library and it was closed.

Now im wondering if she really did work at a library because, I never meet a stripper that had to ride the bus.

Yeah, that was MY heart! Loved the concept and hated to see that it was closed and I missed out. So sad. If I ever hit the "big one", I'll buy it and open it back up.

Pretty sure she worked there. Don't know if she had a car, maybe she was new to the club and still broke, or maybe it was getting fixed. There's not many reasons to get off the bus there. Or there weren't then. Don't know what's been built around there lately.

Girls who work in strip clubs don't always make the money one expects them to. They have to show up early and pay stage rent, their on stage time is controlled, there is competition from the other girls and the constant ebb and flow of customers to other venues.
