Normally I wouldn't post a promotion like, but since I just noticed the email I don't really have time to prepare. Also it's worth an extra 10% for new members and I doubt this will last more than one day. It's an all hands on deck situation. If anyone is interested in playing for us PM me ASAP. Ok so first off I have never seen a more incompetent boothling. When I asked her for the rules she looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. After 10 of getting nowhere she finally calls over a supervisor that goes into the back and prints me off a rule page.

Anyway the rules are pretty much as it reads on your email with the exception that they said the maximum handpays they will match are 3 per day.

I got caught up I'm still an hour out. Can you find out what happens if you decline a bonus on a hand pay. Obviously, I would want to decline if I hit for less than less than a certain amount.

NVM DON'T ASK!!!

I'll just find out when or if that happens, no reason to get them to start thinking and making up more unwanted rules beforehand.<<< That's always good advice when dealing with casinos.

Shouldn’t they have made it more ridiculous and unbelievable if it’s a joke ? To do a prank promo that might cause people to travel long distances for nothing seems like asking for trouble. Unless the fact that it’s a joke is contained in fine print in the same email

If the practical joke was to also financially cause harm to your AP competitors I suppose its possible

It has now been several hours with no additional response from Axel or Happahero so looks like a prank for April 1st

I think I should admit that but for the fact that one of the Wizard's articles contained a statement about that area of town I might not have been so alert to the 'offer'.

Do you have proof he didnt go look? The casino is in his neck of the woods after all<<< That was not by accident. He probably hopped on his unicycle rode and juggled his way all the way to the Rampart and then hit a jackpot, but he is just to embarrassed to tell us about it.

I won't say who, but I know one person for sure kinda fell for it. That's ok, because I bought them lunch.

I was about to ride my bike there, which is no big sacrifice as I like riding anyway. Just as I was getting ready to leave I got a confirmation that it was a joke, so didn't bother. Of course, I could be lying and maybe I did play, hit a jackpot, and got into a big argument when they didn't double it.

Or maybe it is really is true and those reporting it's a joke are selfishly trying to keep other AP's away.

I don’t think you would’ve started playing until speaking to someone at the casino first.

If I remember correctly, Atlantic City's Tropicana had a very good offer that happened to be on April 1 some years ago.

It was a loss rebate for I think $2,000. Many players took advantage of it. I hit a nice jackpot, but some friends each lost about $2,000 and got reimbursed with two payments later in slot dollars on two different dates.

There are a few point multipliers that I like on Monday's and Tuesday's. The best machines are usually taken when I check them out. This week they were completely empty, so everyone must be playing some other good promo somewhere. Could they all be at Rampart?

They actually did a big 150% loss rebate IIRC it was 3k (Of course Alan M. said 150% loss rebates are impossible no casino has ever done that) I never told him where it was. But now that you mentioned they had a big loss rebate I don't mind saying now.
