I had a very pleasant surprise on my most recent Vegas trip.
I'd been taking a beating on the tables for a few days, and was looking for a way to kill some time away from the casino. I was at Paris and happened to walk by Napoleon's Piano Lounge. It was about 7 pm, and a sign out front beckoned me in offering 2-for-1 draft beers until 9 pm. I sat down and ordered a Deschutes Mirror Pond from the lovely waitress.
Soon a sound technician came in and did some stage setup. He was followed by four African American gentlemen in spiffy tuxedos. They proceeded to perform a variety of 50's and 60's R&B and Motown songs. Much of their performance was a capella, and some was accompanied by recorded instrumental tracks. It was all awesome, and the group really knew how to work the crowd.
I don't remember the name of the group. They said one of the members had performed with the Spinners, Platters and the Drifters. A lady in the front row of the audience was identified as one of the Shirelles. The group performed as a warm up before the dueling pianos show which started at 9pm. I don't know how often they perform. I went back to find them again a few days later, but the warm up that day was a guy playing acoustic guitar.
A free show with a great performance and 2-for-1 craft beer. Highly recommended!!

They had Deschutes Mirror Pond on tap? How much was 1 draft and were the glasses 16oz?

We may not agree on much, but I certainly agree on your interest in that beer :)

Some of the best bargains are the opening and closing acts that you just happen to catch, or the club that you just happen to drop into.Quote: PapaChubbyand happened to walk by Napoleon's Piano Lounge.

A very pleasant "break" from the tables. And no need to buy tickets or arrange for transportation across town or anything. Sometimes the headline acts are fine but its nice to get something that is right there and not blasting ear drums while dimming all the street lamps with their equipment.

I found several places with Mirror Pond on tap. Don't particularly recall the glasses, but I think they were pints. I'm sure I had it at Napoleon's and I think Burger Brasserie down the corridor. I may have had it at Cheeseburger Las Vegas in the Miracle Mile shops, but that may have been some sort of brown ale from the same brewery. I expect they had it at the Yardhouse as well. I got the impression that it was kinda the standard craft brew for the region.
I think they may have run about $7? So $3.50 apiece during the twofer.
