I saw an interview with Luke Combs where he talked about transforming the Flamingo into a Country Western Paradise. Thankfully, he has a plan to save Vegas .
Evidently, the city needs more cowbell and country girls. A significant part of his plan seems to involve an upgraded women's lounge where girls can unwind and drink free champagne . He seems to think there is a subsection of females who avoid the strip because the women's lounges are straight out of the 1990s., and by making his hotel more women-friendly, that high-rolling men will want a chance to impress these new women with their bankrolls. He made it sound like he'd taken over the entire casino, and not just the section Margeritaville pulled out of a few years ago.

I could see a Country & Western themed casino working on the strip.

I see those types mostly only during the National Finals Rodeo (coming up in December, we went with Gold Buckle tickets one year) or when a country singer has booked a concert.

The gals who look good tend to look very good but are guys not sporting jeans and ten gallon hats going to flock to hit on them?

Resorts World Vegas is some kind of sponsor for that Rodeo and the place is filled with cowboys and cowgirls in early December.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people. https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambling/betting-systems/33908-the-adventures-of-mdawg/

The first thing that came to my mind was, the closings of both Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill (which, to be fair, may have been more of a problem with the chain than the location) and the PBR bar.

I'm sure there is a niche for a C&W nightclub, but would real cowboys want to stay in a cowboy-themed casino that attracts more wannabes?

There are women's lounges? Do you mean like... the ladies' room? It's probably unwise to serve beverages in there, where people are going the bathroom. Germs!

Maybe taking it back to the 1990's is the right idea. Back when everyone liked Vegas, or at least something about it.

Combs said his women's lounge would provide free drinks and have makeup artists and emergency fashion repair technicians and be an oasis for females to escape for a few minutes. Providing the ladies with state-of-the-art comfort seems like a significant part of his vision.

No, but there are more than enough wannabes to base a business plan on.
May the cards fall in your favor.

I don't disagree. Perhaps placing the glorified women's bathroom in the middle of the casino floor will attract a whole different crowd. I always found the Flamingo stale and only entered it to be in the air conditioning and the parking.

I also note that C&W music fans generally seem to have some money, and are reasonably eager to spend it. Those are two good qualities to have in a customer base.

I seem to recall a number of musicians have switched recording genres to country and done quite well with a slightly slower tempo and a hint of twang.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Oh no- THAT's what it is? That's going to attract a "different" crowd, all right. The Strip is creeping with them, these days. That's going to scare the girls right off if they don't find a way to exclude them.

By closing my eyes & squinting real hard, I too could see a cowboy themed joint. At 2900 S Las Vegas Blvd between the Stardust & Slots-A-Fun, finally getting demolished in 2005, to make way for a McDonalds.

“Go West, young Ho!”
Nothing to read here. Move along.
