I received a $50 free play voucher for Harrah's Laughlin that is good from October 1-30. With work, my newborn son, and life in general I will not have the opportunity to redeem the free play voucher. However, my wife has a conference in Reno this weekend and we will be staying at Harrah's Reno as they comped our rooms. Anyone know whether it would be appropriate to talk to a host and see if they are willing to either redeem or match the offer? I am a Diamond member, but not sure that is relevant.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

I would be very shocked if they redeemed or exchanged it for you. Unlikely, but maybe your host will feel sorry for you and give you a comp for a similar amount.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I would also be shocked.

Then again, you got nothing to lose, so go ahead and ask.

I can't get CET to change anything on the vouchers/free offers. Everytime I go to a host they tell me marketing is in charge of it so they can't change it, and since I already booked the offer I can't change it. Haven't had any luck there.
