This thread is to be used to discuss hotel accommodations at Sam's Town.

In one review there was a comment about a guest's overlooked robe still hanging on the back of the bathroom door.
I realize somethings happen but something like that is an absolute deal killer for my companion.
As for me... I'd rifle through the pockets to see if there were any chips still in it!
Then I'd complain about it at checkout and try to get comped for the room!

Note: I heard quite some time ago that the Daytime crowd and Nighttime crowd at SamsTown are markedly different. I don't really remember the details however.

Me too... I'm a cheap bastard. I successfully talked my way out of the Orleans' resort fee despite receiving two free nights for almost no play.

Good for you!! I feel the casinos owe me for all those sessions with unhelpful craps dealers!

It would be nice if hotel reviews could be based on actual experience. Not on random comments/rants found online, or "I heard"'s.

That said - I stayed a night at Sam's Town in March. The room was clean and spacious (much larger than the rooms I normally get when I stay Downtown). The entire property is well-maintained and pleasant.

I recently got an offer through Boyd's B-Connected card, for 2-nights-for-the-price-of-1 during May and June. I'll probably take them up on that.

I have stayed at all three Sam's Towns. They are all solid "middle class" casinos, run well, spacious rooms and clean. But as in most casinos with low limit craps tables, overrun with stiffs and fleas.
When a rock is thrown into a pack of dogs, the one that yells the loudest is the one who got hit.

just a suggestion for the forums.

a lot of the forums devoted to specific casinos dont get much discussion. instead of having so many forums devoted to specific casinos, instead divide the forums up for casinos in certain areas. like the strip, downtown, summerlin, north las vegas, boulder highway, henderson. i believe it will help generate more discussion by not dividing our focus between so many different threads that can easily be combined together.
