I really want to do Live Room Escape. It is something where a group of ten people try to escape from a room. I don't know much about it but it involves looking for clues and solving them. You're allowed to ask for hints, but you don't get full credit for escaping if you do. A friend of mine did it with his co-workers and they evidently had a great time.

I'd love to get a group of ten together. It is located near the Fashion Show Mall. I'm looking for local members and anybody visiting in February.

"Once someone enters, the doors lock and the countdown begins. Mr. X was smart enough to hide his work and created several clues. Will you be able to escape from the trap room?"

Will we die Wizard? I think this Mr. X has it out for us.

It wouldn't be fun if there weren't some chance of dying.

I come in on Feb 28th (a Saturday) in the morning. Could do it that day or Sunday the first.

I'm in. That sounds fun and I am surprised I have never heard of it before.

The time seems short (1.5 hrs) sounds like more frantic scrambling as opposed to problem solving, but the price isn't bad, it sounds fun and different, I would be interested, I know a few other who would as well. so i'm in assuming it doesn't conflict with anything (ouch last days of the month always a bad time)

perhaps enough people are interested there could be 2 groups.

It reminds me of one of them murder mystery dinner parties.

From what I can remember... HRH had a free entry to a murder mystery dinner thing one year in lieu of a high rollers slot tournament.
I guess you never know what skill you might need to win money. Ramada casino had a free entry putt putt instead of a slot tournament as well(fun)

This sounds awesome, and like something I would thoroughly enjoy. I might have to book a February trip now lol. Let me check my offers (like I need a reason to go to Vegas) =P.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Those who "die" in the game have to buy the post-game beers.

I think you win or lose as a group.

I think there are three different rooms. Maybe we could try to get one group next week and save another for the WoV Spring Fling.

Interesting; my team at work is doing a similar thing (Puzzle Break) this Friday.

If I enjoy it, I might join a WoV group if I'm in town at the right time. But I have a feeling I will just be frustrated, and it will feel like a waste of valuable gambling time (if I'm in Vegas).

They have these room escape puzzles on the game websites, and I think there are some phone apps as well. They are quite a bit of fun to play on the devices, so real life would be pretty cool. There was a TV show last year that had people escaping to win $100Gs I think.

You will find things like a scrap of paper with a number on it under a rug, or taped to the bottom of a drawer, or in a garbage can. You find another number circled on a calendar, etc. Then you move a painting and find a safe. Hopefully the numbers you found are the combo. The sage has a screwdriver, which you probably need someplace else.............

One of the hardest ones I remember was a room with a pair of binoculars and a safe, and seemingly no other clues. It took me days to figure out the next step, which I am not going to reveal here and spoil it for someone's 'fun'.
