I thought every casino has a unique floor covering just so they can be easily identified.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Almost every Ameristar casino has the EXACT same carpet pattern. The Hollywood brand does a lot of that too.

Hmmmmm. Over on LVA, they used to run contests on who could id the casino by the carpeting.

That's true. I was going to mention the WoV carpet quiz but I see the choices are missing.

I agree. That quiz I thought was one of my better ideas. I've put in a request of the technical guy on the Wizard team to get it fixed.

This thread is a split-off of the Easy Vegas thread, where the topic strayed to my carpet quiz, which was lacking the choices.

I'm happy to say my carpet quizzes and casinos quizzes are working again!

However, I must admit the quiz is rather dated, still including the Riviera, Quad, and Monte Carlo.

My score on the Strip quiz was sadly only 54%.

I got only 4 correct on the Reno quiz. Sad.

In my defense, most carpeting has a classical look, not themed.

At the risk of giving away a spoiler, I got one point in Reno only. It was the Sands Regency. Anyone who has been there can attest to what the condition of the carpet is likely to be in.

While I don't know Reno that well, I am mad at myself for not getting the Peppermill.

I think Flamingo has newer, better looking carpet currently fwiw.
