Do you also wonder how they monetize strip clubs?

I'm pretty sure it'll be very similar except instead of titties, you're going to have trichomes.

Instead of pussy, you're gonna have brownies.

Instead ass jiggling, you're going to have THC-infused jello-shots.

Advertising where people are getting their product and having people "go on runs" and "take donations" towards "runs" past and future are going to be all under the table.

Dollar bills are going to be flying in the form of "tips" and "donations" and weed will be equally free.

IE: replace "lap dance" with "hitting the nail" and replace "show me your tits" with "take a hit off this spliff" .. and you have the formula. Add in some club-style marketing where you can get your name in lights for providing free product for everyone in the shop (night club style) and you're profiting handily without even having to charge everyone in the "club."

Yecch. What a nasty way to go, out of all the fun things a pot palace could be. I sincerely hope you're wrong.

The big problem in Vegas is that every hotel now smells like a skunk soaked in cat urine. It literally makes your eyes water. The smell is overwhelming. Burning/smoking pot should be illegal just based on the smell. However, I have no problem with consumption.

I sure hope you are exaggerating... or is CET's deferred maintenance program worse than it used to be. Or worse, is it the personal hygiene of the players that has declined?

No, he's not exaggerating, sadly. The halls are completely skunked out.

I guess it smells like money?

Maybe some brave casino entrepreneur will take a risk and try a non smoking [of any kind] casino in Vegas.

I will add most every intersection to that. I guess, everybody is trying to outdo Cheech&Chong out here

You can easily over dose on magic mushrooms. In addition, you will pass a point where you start "tripping" which is dangerous to the brain as you may not come back....I hope they defeat this.

Nok, I sure hope your comments reflect outdated data.

Current medical research increasingly suggests magic mushrooms (psilocybin) may be a real "game changer," especially regarding PTSD and other mental health problems faced (especially) by veterans (as well as many others). Here's a fairly recent summary from Wired:
Inside the Push to Legalize Magic Mushrooms for Depression and PTSD

IIRC, I once saw a double-blind study where the psilocybin group responded so much better that they had to stop the study so the "control" group could benefit also. If the positive effects are this striking, we need to continue the research (including care to identify "dangers, if any).

I think most lounges will be attached to a dispensary so the sales are simply next door :-)
