If the dealer is cool with it, find the rest of the aces at the table. If I can find the other three aces, I think I go A9 in the low hand.

Otherwise, yeah, I guess I would begrudgingly go pair/pair. I understand and acknowledge the numbers, but getting beat by a 2pair+ would piss me off so much.

Sorry I screwed the poll up.
I was dealt , JOKER, Ac, 9s, 9h, 6h, 3h, 2h, .

I would have played it this way. JOKER, 9h, 6h, 3h, 2h, (Flush) with Ac, 9s on top.

I hit 'House way' and they would have played JOKER, Ac, 6h, 3h, 2h with 9h, 9s on top.

The dealer had JOKER, 10h, 9d, 8d, 7c (straight) with Kd, 7s on top.

The 'House way' resulted in a PUSH.

My way would have won.

Two jokers? I don't think so.

I figured 9,9 on top was the obvious answer or this to be a trick somehow.

I've played PGP only a few times in my life and it's usually me asking the dealer how to play my hand every round.

Either you're remembering a hand incorrectly, or there's something wrong with the WoO demo. There is only 1 joker in the deck, but you're saying you and the dealer each had one.

It's still much better to split your pairs. The 9s are too powerful up top to play the flush.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

It's gonna happen. I was playing UTH and folded 6s 3c; the flop was 3-3-3. Oh well. If we could see through the cards it would be easy.

You folded before the flop in UTH? You mean regular Hold Em, right?

I haven't played much poker (like regular Texas hold'em and such) in my life, but I've seen people folding their cards when they could just as easily have checked. Like....what the hell are you doing, do you also stand on A4 in BJ or 3x the flop on UTH or 2x in MS????

Another screw up by me.

The dealer had JACK, 10h, 9d, 8d, 7c and Kd, 7s.

The stronger the 2 card hand, the better. Spilt the pair.
