Why not a separate forum?

I've long wondered why there is no separate forum at the Wizard of Odds site.

I've little interest in the math aspects of gambling: my interest is Las Vegas, what it represents and what it says about us as a people.

Not complaining, just wondering: why not have a math based forum at WOO, and keep this one focused on what the title says: Las Vegas?

Yes, there are few math-focused posts here anymore, which leads me to conclude that having a forum at WOO might actually generate them.

I got the impression the Wiz has no desire
to have a gambling forum, they almost
always get out of hand.

It is what it is and things changed 15 months ago but future changes need monetary motivations to happen.

I've read of dissatisfaction by old timers, the math-oriented folk, with the path this board is taking.

It seems that a separate board at WOO could lure them and perhaps others back.
